I reviewed the assembly drawings, and I'm not sure where the rain would pour off the roof. Does it drop between the Front Facia and the Top Front Trim?

Answer:
Thanks, but not what I asked. As it is, where would the rain water come pouring out from? It looks like the roof panels are tucked behind the Top Front Trim.

3 Attaching It is important that the rear roof channel be securely anchored to a sound and flat mounting
surface. A special mounting board (2x4,2x6)x9' 11 1/8" (38 mm x 89 mm, 38 mm x 140 mm) x 302,6 cm can be
used if existing surface is questionable or on mobile homes. The mounting board should be attached with wood
screws drilled into the wall studs on frame construction. Masonry anchors should be used on brick or masonary
installations. Also on frame construction, if stud or rafter spacing is greater than 16" (40,6 cm) on center, use the
mounting board. Countersink all fasteners.

Option 1 Attachment to Stud or Rafter Locate studs or rafters in mounting wall. With
rear roof channel level on wall, drill a 3/16" (5 mm) hole, 1" (2,5 cm) from top flange, through rear roof channel's
web and wall at every stud or rafter. Make sure there is a hole on each end of channel. Remove rear roof channel
from wall and enlarge holes in rear roof channel with a 7/16" drill bit. This hole will enable the fastener to pass
through the rear roof channel. Align holes in wall with holes in rear roof channel. Attach rear roof channel to wall
with 3/8"x2 1/2" (10 mm x 6,4 cm) screws and washers, provided your local code permits the use of this screw.
Note: If a special mounting board was used, holes are provided in rear roof channel for attaching to wall.
Note: Poke a hole through weather seal
using an awl before drilling or fastening.

Option 2 Attachment to Brick or Masonary Use masonary fasteners (purchased
locally) 12" (30,5 cm) on center. Level rear roof channel on wall, using holes in rear roof channel as a guide,
drill holes in wall at the center and each end of channel with proper size masonry bit ( do not drill holes in mortar
joints). Attach rear roof channel to wall with masonry anchors. Repeat procedure for remaining holes in rear
roof channel. Note: If a special mounting board was used, holes are provided in rear roof channel for attaching
to wall.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product... Nice product .. installation was not as hard as I thought it would be...Only negative for me is that my deck is 10x20 and rain comes in from front and side.. not a fault of the product, a size issue,, June 8, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Robert Hendershott Two of the roofs slats are not always rounded like the other three. They keep bending under the weight of rain or snow. In the spring I will need to figure a way to eliminate this problem so the roof does not fall in. Rather disappointed in the product but can't return it as it was a process to put together. Thanks for asking for my feedback. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product was good for the price This was an excellent product for the price and will last many years with moderate maintenance. My situation was to install this product one foot under a two foot soffit. This made locking the panels in individually impossible. I had to make a support to assemble the cover three foot out. I then had to slide the unit as one to the wall which made anchoring very difficult. I had to make some complicated modifications to anchor it to the wall. The end result was good. March 9, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A nightmare to put together "'""easy assembly""""" is what this description says. There is absolutely NOTHING easy about this assembly. You need to build wood frames to hold this thing up while you attempt to screw the tiniest little nuts and bolts in holes that in order to line up you need all assortment of fancy gripping clamps. I have spent weeks putting this thing together and from the picture i thought it would be silver steel colored, it's a hideous white color. In the description now that I looked at it it says beige/cream. Even that would be better than stark white. It made you bow the roof panels, but I can't get them to stay that way, so water is pooling is parts where the roof droops. It doesn't make ANY SENSE. I don't understand why it would go together that way, why it wouldn't stay that way. Worst DIY project I have ever taken on. I'm going to have to put 2 by 3's under the roof to get it to stay bowed. And then I think I'll weld everything together, just to make sure it doesn't fall apart. It's been an absolute nightmare, do not buy this unless you are paying someone else to put it together and that person has a lot of tools and spare wood and patience. January 25, 2016
