What's the difference between the Dakota and the Concord sheds?

Asked by: Anonymous
The difference in the Dakota & the Concord is the color of the roof. Also the Dakota is typically stocked at Home Depot and includes a floor framing kit in the carton.

Customer Reviews

Concord 10 ft. x 8 ft. Steel Storage Building is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall, a good product with some challenges shed does take a long time to assemble - at least 10 hours with 3-4 people and that's just the kit. Get a crew and at least two stepladders for the roof; and power tools to speed assembly - The plans are well done though a little on the cheap side due to somewhat poor print quality - hard to distinguish parts in some of the illustrations, so the text does make up for this. Th screws and nuts and bolts are small and can be fussy to handle - fumbling and dropping them is part of the job and slows the work - once assembled, the shed is solid and looks good - it held up well in some very high winds. Over all a good product but prepare for a long assembly time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nightmare!!! Tough Build LABOR and Octopus Required! While I am happy with this shed now that is complete...Whew. I would say minus the awesome platform we built it took 40 Hours to build, this product has no strength until 90% assembled. At the begining you need at least four people or 2 octupus and many ropes to secure the flismyness that is this monoquoce structure! Thousands of screws, out of order instructions telling you to build items that cannot be built first. Not fun, if you dont have a strong marriage do not ask your wife to help. go with a wood shed, either a kit or from scratch it will be a better overall value. I will NEVER Do any ARROW Building again!!! NIGHTMARE

Rated 3 out of 5 by from decent but not great This shed took 3 guys 8 hours to build. The instructions are a bit of a mess, should be a bit more clearer with better pics to show instsllation. What I didn't like about this shed is the metal is very thin. Should be more heavy duty.the paint is way to thin and scuffs easily and the packaging was terrible.should come with styrofoam not sheets of paper seperating parts.plus one part was missing from the box and we had to call to order it. If the shed had better quality paint with a bit thicker metal I would give it 5 stars. It is roomy and does its job for now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great! While we needed to bring in other people to help us put it together, totaling 30 man hours, it looks great. Recommend cementing it down on top of 2x4's for added support when it is placed on concrete surface. When all is said and done, there is plenty of space inside this thing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT A EASY SETUP!! Good Value if you have 2 people/ 2 full days This product claims to be "predrilled holes for easy set up"...NOT A EASY SETUP!! Good Value if you have 2 people/ 2 full days and a Dewalt or professional grade drill and a metal cutting tool, Dewalt "Cut-off" tool. Without these, forget about it. It looks simple, ITS NOT!!. If you are not at least a handyman, do not try this product!! If you are, it can be done, plan on cutting your hands multiple times and screwing 1000 screws in. Do not rely on holes to be pre-drillled, and do not expect the roof panels to fit exactly. There are no good videos on you-tube on how to install and the instructions are written by someone in China and translated verbateum to English. Good Luck!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this product has an extreme amount of small nuts and bolts. NOt only were the nuts, bolts and hardware needed were extremely small for mem's hands, they neded to be placed in very diffuclt places. Took way too long to put together, with two men and a female. at least 8 hours. instructions were not clear as well. Altho, is okay once done,. it was a crazy doing it.
