First it is not 10'x14'. It is a little wider than 10' and many inches shorter than 14', more like 131/2 feet. check the measurements before making the foundation. The shed is actually easier to put together with 3 people. I recommend you mark the pieces clearly with a marker as the numbers are hard to see. When they sent my shed they inadvertently sent extra pieces that must belong to a different shed. Organize your parts in piles and have the screw ETC. handy on a table and set up the screws and bolts with the clear silicone washers beforehand as it goes faster that way. Have at least 2 battery operated drills handy as it makes it faster. If you get the beef up room kit it has too many parts as well. It is a long process more than the times mentioned by someone else. Make sure you have time to finish it once you have the frame built. Anchor the frame then continue as it may shift and cause more problems down the road. Have drill bits handy as the holes don't always match up. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the ladder. 2 ladders work best. Also I would recommend wearing some kind of shin guards as you will spend a lot of time leaning into the rungs on the ladder and spending a lot of time contorted on the ladder. There is a lot of reaching out once you start putting the roof panels on.
I like the shed though and it's roomy. I recommend a floor either made from concrete or one made out of redwood. Be careful when putting it together as the panels are thin and bend easier and dent easy.
Good luck. :)

You need 2 people and 12 - 15 hours to assemble this shed.
You get a step by step manual with the shed and if you follow the directions it is not difficult to assemble.

For mine I wanted it to be able to be moved in the future so I build a frame from 2x10 with 2x8 joists. This was fastened to double 2x6 runners (skids). Covered with 3/4 plywood pained with marine paint before the shed was assembled on it. Very sturdy. and can be moved on a flatbed trailer.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 122 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement to my 20 yr previous 8x10 Everything worked out great from delivery to setting up, only negatives are that delivered the box was severely damaged on one corner with a gapping hole however no part of shed was damaged or missing oddly enough, and a cpl of pieces were not very well marked. Please note two things it is very important that your surface is not only square but level as well, mine must not have been as level as it should have been because lining up some areas was challenging. also note be cautious of assembly with even the slightest of wind, the day I picked was calm as can be but as soon as I put up corners I started getting slight wind gust which was aggravating. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Storage Shed Assembly is really difficult....SO MANY SCREWS! It took us 4 days to complete it by a professional contractor. Otherwise once finished, it is really large, and spacious. We needed to put support on the earth, and level it, bought weather treated plywood for the floor. The door slides, but it is tricky, sticks in places, we put WD40 that helped the sliding issue. Just be careful not to move doors off the tracks. There are some pin holes where panels meet, we are wondering how the rain will come in?? so we are going to plug those little holes with clear caulking. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SHED. For the price, we got alot of space, nice ceiling height, i am tall, can stand in center easily. Alot of space for storage. Great shed. December 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Steel shed that works! I built the shed in a weekend with my kids. It was easy to put together if you can follow directions. It is a prety solid building that can't be beat for the price. May 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 10 x 14 shed Not an easy assembly. Like the large size. Took 2 people 2 days to assemble.Door should be taller. May 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult install Takes about 30 hours to install with no wind. It's too thin to be built in that amount of time if it's windy! May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Huge mistake If I could have given this shed 0 stars I would have. We purchased this shed at the end of July 2015, assembled it on August 8th and it literally blew away in a storm on September 10th. We had NO other storm damage; no tree limbs down, etc. so this wasn't an unusual storm. It was properly anchored to the ground/flooring. In fact, the flooring is still there. As best we can figure, the doors were blown open and there was enough air to tear it off the flooring and blow it a couple hundred yards in to a nearby fence. We wonder if a vent would have solved this problem but either way, it's too late for us. The warranty does not apply since this was due to "forces of nature". Extremely disappointed. September 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by steel shed is smaller than stated The shed is smaller than stated. It was difficult to put together. The instructions where not clear. Many of the holes to attach the roof caps where located under the roof beams making it almost impossible to get the nuts screwed on the bolts. The weather stripping used on the gables covered the holes with instructions five steps later to cut stripping around holes after they were already screwed together. Over all it was the most difficult building to put together and probably would have taken it back if we had not done so much work on it already. Would not recommend it. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what we needed We needed a shed and researched many that were available. We chose this shed because it fit our size and use requirements plus fit our budget and our DIY capabilities. October 1, 2015
