CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT BUY After just a few seasons, rust spots formed on the roof, causing nickel sized holes allowing leakage into shed. Company warranty does not cover rust spots. DO NOT BUY THIS SHED, IT IS NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY AS IT WILL NOT LAST. Rust has spread and the shed in unusable. Our plastic resin rubbermaid shed is going strong after many years. It has superior construction and no issues whatsoever. September 21, 2007
Rated 2 out of 5 by kind of disappointed I think the idea of having a shed that snaps together is wonderful, however, I think they need to fine tune this one a lot. #1- if you plan to have a floor foundation, make sure you look at the diagram that shows how large that foundation should be in the instructions. DoNot make it 8ft x 6 ft-the requirements are larger. I built a wood floor on a frame. I bought the wood at Home Depot and they cut every piece to exactly the sizes I needed at the store free, so all we had to do was nail it together when I got it home. That was great. The cost, using mdf for the floor and 2 x 4's for the frame, and 2 sizes of galvanized nails was about $48. Make sure it's level even if you have to level it with bricks. #2-The shed itself is made of flimsy steel that I was almost afraid to try to put together because I thought I might hurt it. The doors are somewhat flimsy too, but maybe all sheds of made of this grade steel now. After you get the frame together [not too hard] and hang the walls on the frame and snap them in place, [again not too hard] you come to the part I thought really needed some improvement. There are plastic strips that are supposed to snap into place in the cracks between the metal sheets that make up the walls and roof. The wall strips don't want to snap into place like the instructions say they will and it was very frustrating trying to get them in. Some of them are still hanging loose at the bottom of the strip and the ones that are in are very "iffy". I guess we'll have to super glue them in if we want them to stay. The roof strips were also difficult, but once I figured them out, they seemed to be secure. The trick is to start threading them in to the crack beyond the wall frame and make sure you put them in with the unthreaded end toward the wall of the shed. The bad thing about not getting the strips in securely is, if you don't, they won't keep the rain from coming in. There are trim strips on the edge of the tops of the side walls that are supposed to screw on, but we haven't yet figured out how they will fit. They need to be on in order to keep the rain out. The instructions at times are not at all clear. The quality of the shed is questionable. I don't think it's one that will last more than 10 years. Maybe less. If I had to do it over again, I'd purchase something sturdier and I'd see it in person so I could tell how well made it is when it's put together. All together, we probably had to place about roughly 40 screws in the walls and to secure it to the foundation at the bottom. Make sure you have a drill for this to make it so much easier. Total time to build the frame about 1 hour. Total time to construct shed-6 1/2 hours with 2 people on a nonwindy day. You cannot put this together in the wind. The metal will bend all over the place. Rated 4 out of 5 by I am happy with this product and recommend to anyone. This shed is fantastic! I was very happy & pleased with my purchase. It is excellent for the cost and easy to build. On the contrary, I had no knowledge that this shed could not be built in a corner. I had to build it a few feet away, then push it into the corner. Overall, the product is worth it. February 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to assemble Took two people an easy 2 hours to assemble. Sheeting could be of a thicker gauge for better rigidity. July 25, 2011
