After loading staples in the PowerShot Pro electric stapler i can't close the stable loader. Why? Im using Staples T50 5/16" 8mm and 9/16" 14mm .Whats the problem?
Asked by: judy
Hello, Judy. What you described can happen if either the PowerShot 8000K or the PowerShot Professional Electric 9100K were loaded from the back. Both tools are bottom load staple guns, which means they won’t dispense staples if the staples were placed on top of the extended channel. Instead, pull back the pusher rod and insert staples into the bottom of the tool with the staple legs facing up. Do you have 9/16" brad nails for manual staple gun?

Asked by: steve
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, steve. We do not carry 9/16" brad nails unfortunately. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

Customer Reviews

Powershot Pro Staple and Brad Nailer is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from I should have relied on the reviews I read the reviews before buying. despite seeing people having trouble with the powershot jamming, I bought this anyway, hoping to alleviate hand pain from the "old-fashioned" kind of stapler. Ironically, the instructions use the words "in the unlikely event of a jam." It tells you how to fix a jam, but I found it very difficult to fix, and the jam turned out to be highly likely indeed. I did succeed in fixing it 3 times (after much effort), but the fourth time it jammed, I couldn't get the screw back in, it was stuck and wouldn't go forward or backward. So the thing jammed 4 times on 3 rows of staples and within 30 minutes of total use, including the fixing time. It went back to home depot the next day and there was an easy no hassle return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great staple gun This thing is great. Works great one of the best staple guns out there if used correctly. As for the other reviews. If it jams put less staples in it at one time, do not over load it. If the staples don't go in all the way you are using the wrong staples try a shorter ones.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not work like I had hoped Bought this for a simple upholstery project and it is just too hard to make it work correctly. Unless you are holding it PERFECTLY level and still the staple will not go in flush. Pretty frustrating. I am going to try an electric one.
