Easily the worst staple gun ever. 1 out of every 5th staple stuck but still had to be set with a hammer. Shocked and disappointed that this 2 star item is what HomeDepot chooses the have in store. Like other customers, I thought it looked well made and appreciated the carrying case. What a let down!

I purchased this to put up some plastic thinking it would speed up the process and save in hand cramps.
I found it is underpowered as others have said and going in to simple pine requires following up with a hammer.
That it likes to double tap, so the trigger is an art.
And the most annoying is it jams constantly. I've tried full strips of the recommended staples, half strips, small loads. Jamming is just its thing.
So I suggest looking for something better.
Even in a pinch this will add to your headache

Would not feed staples. One shot, reload, one shot, reload.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Joe Don't buy, does not set staple to correct depth
Can't believe companies sell this stuff without a little R&D. Have to pound in the staples with a hammer. Its going back to the store.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BShea So disappointed, I bought this before reading any reviews.
Sadly, it is just as bad as all the other bad review. I bought mine at Home Depot, but have to share with people not to buy this. As son as I used it to staple fabric to a chair, the lock to hold the staples in just would not lock and left opening, dropping the staples out. The staple jammed, or just never stapled. Read the other review, it all happened to me as well. How do they keep selling this?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wiley Complete Junk, don't waste your money!
I bought this stapler to do some upholstery and thought it would save time and my hands. It doesn't drive the staples all the way in, not even close. I was stapling vinyl fabric to a thin piece of plywood, or should I say I was trying to. The staple would stick up out of the wood and fabric a good 1/16 of an inch and that was with 1/4 inch staples. There is no way to adjust for more or less power so you get what you get. Save your money and don't buy this stapler. I would take this back if I still had the receipt.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Coop weak power, weaker material
Bought this as a quick way to lay underlayment for my new kitchen flooring. Staples would not fully set and had to hammer each one in as I went, then, about 3/4 of the way through, the whole front end shattered. Won't make this mistake again.

Having purchased this stapler for a small uphoulster job, i would not recommend this this product. The stapler lock would release by itself. I ended up taping it. I used a box of staples because the stapler would release three staples at a time also it would not seat the staples. I checked the wire feature making sure it was not in the wire position. I had to hammer all staples to seat them. I finally gave up and used my hand stapler to finish the job. This product should not even be on the market. It is definitly going back to Home Depot.
