Returned due to low power. Wouldn't drive staples into a pine 2x4... And pine is a soft wood!

Bought this at my local store. The worst item ever I ever bought at Home Depot. It bends the 9/16" PowerShot brand brad nails, wasted my money on the tool and the brad nails. Will never buy again from HOME DEPOT.

Easily the worst staple gun ever. 1 out of every 5th staple stuck but still had to be set with a hammer. Shocked and disappointed that this 2 star item is what HomeDepot chooses the have in store. Like other customers, I thought it looked well made and appreciated the carrying case. What a let down!

I purchased this to put up some plastic thinking it would speed up the process and save in hand cramps.
I found it is underpowered as others have said and going in to simple pine requires following up with a hammer.
That it likes to double tap, so the trigger is an art.
And the most annoying is it jams constantly. I've tried full strips of the recommended staples, half strips, small loads. Jamming is just its thing.
So I suggest looking for something better.
Even in a pinch this will add to your headache

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Joe Don't buy, does not set staple to correct depth
Can't believe companies sell this stuff without a little R&D. Have to pound in the staples with a hammer. Its going back to the store.

I bought this stapler to do some upholstery and thought it would save time and my hands. It doesn't drive the staples all the way in, not even close. I was stapling vinyl fabric to a thin piece of plywood, or should I say I was trying to. The staple would stick up out of the wood and fabric a good 1/16 of an inch and that was with 1/4 inch staples. There is no way to adjust for more or less power so you get what you get. Save your money and don't buy this stapler. I would take this back if I still had the receipt.
