I'm having a problem loading my stapler

I apparently don't have the strength it takes to squeeze the button. What can I do?
Asked by: Retiree2011
I would think anyone would have the strength needed as it feels like very light pressure is needed on mine. If nothing else, you could try a pair of pliers to boost your grip maybe.

problem loading staples.

power shot 9100. I have a problem loading recommended Arrow staples. After loading strip of staples on rail, the rail will not close but kicks the strip of staples out. Bummer.
Asked by: doitmyself66
I load the staples into the gun, not the rail & works just fine this way.

Pro Electric Strip-Loading Stapler/Nailer is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awesome...........and then not so much. I initially loved this tool. I have had it for just about 2 years now. The first year or so it worked perfect. Rarely ever had a jam or issue. Then it slowly started having more and more jams. Now, at the 2 year mark when I try to use it, I get 1 to 2 brads/staples in the workpiece before it jams. So it's like shoot one, clear one, shoot one, clear one. Rinse & repeat. I tried emailing the company to see if it could be repaired and as of a couple weeks ago still have not had a reply from them. So in conclusion I would say, buy it if you rarely need one, but if you're going to use it alot then go with a better quality tool. I would not buy this one again personally.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again Have had this stapler for a couple years. Had very light use and some of the other comments about power fit, but the kicker is the stapler broke out of the clear blue the other day. The small pieces where the staples are guided fell out and upon inspection, the plastic broke where the screws hold the stapler halves together. It's toast. No more economically priced electric staplers for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Powershot Stapler very short use life I used the stapler twice and the stapler trigger switch failed on the second use. I can replace the switch on the circuit board. Is there a replacement switch or can I ship you the stapler and you can replace it?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lack of Brads, but okay stapler. Works ok for the lightweight stapler that it is. It does not even "Set' the staples it recommends to use.Try THAT up on a ladder !! Really have to press VERY HARD on it for the staples to go in all the way. I only bought it to install plastic screen material on window frames. Had to follow up with a hammer to "Set' the staples. Not very many places carry the brads for it,and most places do carry the staples. This is fine for the hobbiest, not reccomended for any kind of heavy work. Will just trash the thing when it quits. I will never recommend it to anyone. Save your money and buy a different unit or a air powered unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Purchase a different brand or model I purchased this just last night and couldn't wait to try it out. It came in it's own carrying case and seemed solid even though it is a plastic body. I liked the sliding metal staple guide and it was very easy to load. The reason why this gun will return to the store is that it often puts 2 staples into the work instead of 1. The second staple is often crooked or it just lays on the work next to the other staple that is in the board. I was using the T50 staples. This was a consistant problem. Over half of the trigger pulls had 2 staples coming out instead of 1. There is not an adjustment to fix this.
