It would seem that a prior version of this product may have had some problems. After needing to replace an old Craftsman HD stapler I was looking at the T50 Chrome stapler. Then I saw the T50 RED here. With improved design features, adjustable drive force, broad usability for staples AND several brad sizes...this was the best choice for me.
I have used various sizes of ARROW staples and 3/4'' brads and it is awesome. Works flawllessly-no jams!!. The most flexible stapler I have ever owned. A 3 years replacement garantee unbeaten in the industry. That is proof that this is a reliable, easy and durable product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by larrywj1 But get a good one-or sqeeze the rail in a vise
This was my 3rd one-My first worked good- but I dropped it way too many times from very high ladders-my 2nd one was completely jamed-this one wouldn't shoot staples so Arrow offered to exchange me for one that has been tested, they said there was a problem with these when they first came out (but my 1st one was good?).
It would have been a pain to return it to you so I took it apart to see why it was jamming, as I saw there were replacement internal parts for them. I realized right away that the slide must have been expanded too wide when it was stamped out at the factory, because staples would not drop onto the rail without forcing them. Anyways, I am a automotive tech by trade, so failry handy at repairing tools, and I adjusted the rail in a vise so staples would slide over the rail.
Now this sucker works better than my 1st stapler! Nails, Staples-all sizes- works great! Lots of Power!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sparky78 Major disapointment
I bought this staple gun to replace the Stanley gun I recently lost, and it proved to be appallingly bad. The very first staple did not come out, the second through fifth staples did, then the gun jammed. In the course of installing vapour barrier on the ceiling of a 5' x 7' bathroom I had to un-jam the gun approx. 9-10 times. When it didn't jam it was hit or miss whether or not a staple would come out, I used arrow brand T-50 3/8" staples and went through several clips as the gun constantly broke the clips up,separating the staples, which probably explains all the jamming. Had slightly better luck when I switched to 1/2" staples but after much frustration still have not finished stapling the vapour barrier. Not sure if this is a defective unit, but am returning it for a Stanley gun which in 8+ years of use I don't recall mine ever jamming. The length of this review should indicate the level of my disapointment.

Sorry, but this is a piece of junk. Im on my 4th one. Breaks when using brads. Broke once with staples and twice with brads. This is not a professional stapler. .

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MGTN Worst Stapler I ever used
I bought two of these to use for insulating and hobby work around the house. My job took twice as long as it would jam, not fire and the rear would pop open. I will not recommend these.

I bought this T50 RED thinking it was a heavy duty high quality stapler that would replace my old T50. I was wrong. By its design it is very hard to load unless you have an unbroken sleeve of staples. If you are trying to use several short groups it is almost impossible to close. So I decided to just use it as a backup and began using my old T50 again. But now even under occasional light use The T50 RED is broken. The follower that puts pressure on the staples to push them forward is either broken or has come apart so it is unusable. Should have checked the ratings on this first. I wish I would have bought a DEWALT.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by clp5 Jammed after first sleeve of staples
This looked like a great stapler and worked fine for the first sleeve of stables (1/4" T50).
After that it refused to fire staples, even after mutlplie reloads. The hardware store also could not figure it out.
Had to return for DeWalt.
