Answer:
open stapler as if loading staples, with bottom open and facing up, place a row of brads along the side with the little window, points of brads will be facing up also (i keep slightly tilted to side where brads lay while closing), close .

Hi there: In response to your question, the brads are loaded into the same channel as the Staples. However, on one side standing upright.

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 133 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of time and money Since I've bought it; it's never worked and have been taking up space in my closet ever since. May 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by arrow not what it used to be i have owned and used arrow staplers for many years ... my last 2 were the standard silver heavy duty T50 and were great! (so great they were borrowed and never returned!) i bought the T50 r.e.d. and could not believe it was an arrow. jammed from the beginning with both arrow staples and brads and continued to get worse, then the misfires. when in the middle of a project the last thing you need is to stop every 3 or 4 staples to unjam or deal misfires, very frustrating. gave it away and decided to buy another old reliable, but have to say it is NOT quite what it used to be. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by perplexed Anyone have any suggestions on how to load this thing? Last time I used it was over 6 months ago and apparently I was able to load it just fine. After following the "dummy proof" instructions on the stapler, it still wont fire after attempts for deployment. What gives? August 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by red staple gun great As the description says, this staple gun is easier to press and it works very well. Having separate settings for hard wood and softer wood is a nice feature. This item has a low average rating because early in its product manufacturing cycle, Arrow had a defect in specifications for some internal part. Arrow has definitely fixed that problem and the current products are good staple guns that work well. It will take a lot of reviews to overcome the initial group of low ratings. The current product does deserve a high rating even if the initial product did not. August 28, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poorly Desinged Found this out minutes after using it.This thing is horrible, Just about every time I squeeze the handle It pinches the palm of my hand, and every body else that uses it. Then when you try to reload staples you have to fiddle with trying to get the slide back in. August 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lightweight but stiff to use I am a 60ish woman and wanted a lightweight stapler for upholstery and household jobs. This one was stylish and light in the package so I chose it. It is easy to load and position and sturdy, but I have a lot of trouble squeezing it hard enough to get staples out. I have to use both hands and even then it hurts my hands. Maybe there are NO easy to use staplers out there. I recommend it only for people with strong hands! July 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New is better This one is a lot easier to use than the older or smaller staples. Worth the upgrade. August 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 7 out of 10 Good thing for wood filler ... 7 out of 10 misfires ... Jams all the time ... Makes more dents then will shoot nails. Don't waste your time or $25 ... Buy an air powered Brad nailer. June 6, 2015
