Revised question do you carry a metric version for nutserts/threads eras thanks

Asked by: Tony
Hello, Tony. For the RHT300, we offer blind rivets in 1/8” (3mm), 5/32” (4mm) and 3/16” (4.8mm). We do not, however, offer threaded inserts. We hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Twister Rivet Tool is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loss of Grip on 3/16 Aluminum Rivets I've used this product for a couple of years, mostly with 1/8 rivets and never ran into problems. But I've had a project this week that has included use of 3/16 aluminum rivets. It has become extremely difficult to get a good enough grab on the rivet shaft to pull the material together and finish the rivet - the gripper inside the gun just slips. I'm suspecting that aluminum is collecting on the serrations inside the 'gripper' but I have no way of checking or cleaning this up. To finish my project, I'll need to purchase another gun, but probably not this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RHT 300 Swivel head Rivet gun Had a small job to rivet on a hinge, could not figure out why I couldn't set the rivet. noticed the gun split down the center of the housing. Left me with half of a job not done. The gun has been used less then 20 times. Reviewed the specs on the gun and was very disappointed to see the call out the gun is all steel construction when obviously the housing is made of cast aluminum. Seems like a total misleading spec callout. Thought I was buying the top of the line rivet gun, turns out spent way to much money on a very large disappointment. If you need a gun to rivet everyday for professional use, do not purchase this unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ended on such a down note. I had this product for a few years and only Used occasionally. I guess mine lasted a little longer than most before it split in three places. Like I said it's been a few years. I'm sure the receipt is lost by now. I will have to admit it did set that last river before it bit the dust. It probably set 50 rivets before it broke. Not Worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great tool, cheap junk metal construction that broke 2nd use bought this from the depot last year used it once. got it out this year 2017, head of tool broke in 3 pieces i was using 1/16 thick aluminum rivet. i would expect such from harbor freight not arrow. AAROW staple guns work great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works great - for the first 14 rivets I bought this tool to assemble a Christmas present for my wife. Christmas morning comes, she loves the gift, I take it downstairs to assemble. Get everything laid out, start riveting. Works great. I show my two boys how rivets work, they're impressed. Then comes rivet #15. I keep squeezing the handles and nothing happens. I notice that I don't feel resistance until the handles are almost completely closed together. I remove the tool and examine the rivet, and I can see marks on the rivet where the tool had been squeezing against the metal shank. However, it keeps slipping off and won't finish the job. I try again with rivet #16, thinking I may have a faulty rivet. No dice - same problem. So what's a guy to do? It's Christmas day, the store is probably closed. I'll have to see if I can borrow a rivet gun today from a neighbor, or wait until I can return it to the store. Hopefully HD sells another made and model of rivet gun that is more reliable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Steel construction? A piece of wood is stronger! I bought this riveter some time ago 'cos it looked good and I thought the rotating head was a good idea. When my father in law backed his car into my garage door I thought I had the ideal tool to replace the damaged rivets. How wrong can you be!! Having straightened out the door I began reassembly. On the first rivet the head split longitudinally in three places leaving the rivet totally unscathed. The casting quality is good but the metal used isn't. If a replacement head is available, I will replace it and keep the thing for light work - I still like the rotating head.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad luck , wish i had seen the reviews. I bought (2) rht 300 rivet guns in Pampa, Tx . I live in Irving,tx. the first gun I open worked great for the first 20 rivets. It broke. Opened the second rht 300 rivet gun and it didn't have the parts in the gun that made it work. went to the internet and look up repairing rivet guns and was able to get the first rivet gun working again. The second is useless. Since I bought them in Pampa, tx , i can't take them back because it is a 5.5 hour drive. i have the receipts?
