Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mimmy Easy to put together, directions confusing in some places
The shed was fairly easy to put together, takes about 6 hours with one person building and one assisting. In some places the directions were slightly confusing and later we thought that some of the instructions should have been in a different order (e.g. nuts and bolts on sides, hard to put on once strength bar had been installed. Overall though for the price, it's a great little shed for the money.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MissReene Sturdy and well built product
Although it is a tedious project it is worth it. I experience high winds in the area and it will stand up against the elements.
Once we figured out how to match the number sequences up for the pieces, it went together within a few hours.
I am glad I took the extra step and put a plastic weather barrier then built a floor over that to protect my belongings.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GIL EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I was impressed with the price and the product. With its numbered parts, it went together easily by one person. All the parts including all the little stuff and screws were there in the right quantities.
All the pre-drilled holes were in the right places. Instructions were clear and there is a telephone help line (that I didn't have to use). 5 Star rating.

This shed came with our house and is about 3 years old. Its held up good, it only has a little rust in between the door and roof. It holds my lawnmower, pressure washer and miscellaneous garden tools and still has space. Its perfect if you need it to store basic lawn care items.

The screws that fastened the track for the doors, interfered with opening and closing the door. I drilled out the screw holes one at a time and replaced them with bolts that were extra in the parts bags. The smoother head was toward the door guides and the nut was on the side away from the door. I put cap nuts on the two bolts in the entrance way to the shed to help prevent head injuries. They should look at how these screws intrefere with the door opening and closing to come up with a better way for people that are not ashandy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JayTee A little smaller than advertised
I assembled the 8x10 version of this shed 12 years ago, and it is still doing great. Based on that, I bought this smaller version for a smaller yard. I created a 6x8 pad with patio slabs as a base, rather than use the provided floor kit. The steel panels are nicely made, although there are a lot of screws to deal with. Unlike others, I find the doors slide very nicely (make sure to attach the door track 'fat side' down!). Instructions are fairly clear, but do pay attention. The kit was missing a door slide, but, with a call to Arrow customer service, the missing part was in my hands within days. The only disappointment was that it is only 8x5.5ft, not 8x6ft as advertised. I actually selected this shed after measuring our adult mountain bikes and found that they would fit nicely in a 6ft length. To fit them against the 5.5ft length, I have to turn the wheels. My lawnmower just fits. A snowblower? Lets hope. It sure would be nice to have those six missing inches!

For the price this shed is a good deal. For the work that goes into it you had better allow 2-3 days of on and off work. The instructions are very specific but for some steps they are not specific enough. An example are the walls and the roof panels. Some of them have the same number whether they are on the right or left side so you think it doesn't matter which side they go. You find out when you are putting the last piece in that it does matter. They should mark the sides and roof panels to match the instruction drawings. The biggest complaint is that the screws around the door frame intrude into the track where the door sliders travel. I redrilled some of the holes higher so they were away from the plastic sliders but the way the sliders attach to the door, they actually clamp onto the door track if you tighten the screws. You have to leave them loose. Even with these modifications the door is difficult to slide open and closed. I will be trying to adapt some wheels to run in the door track. One more tip is to have a piece of plywood ready to lay on the roof when you are fastening the panels down You have to climb on the tin roof to reach the fasteners in the middle of the roof.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Resabout Great shed for the price
My husband and I purchased and put together this shed, which is a manufactured wonder! It was delivered right to our door. We were initially overwhelmed after unpacking all the pieces, but all we had to do was lay out everything and carefully follow the step-by-step instructions. It came together beautifully and we couldn't be more pleased with our Hamlet shed.
