Disassemble and move??

May need to move in a year and would want to take this shed, is it possible to disassemble it later without messing it up?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, I disassembled and moved my shed. I removed the roof and split that in 2. I split the walls at each corner but left the walls assembled - so I had 4 wall panels and 2 roof panels to transport. Reassembly was easy and I did it by myself, I reused most of the original hardware but used pop rivets in some places since that was quicker.

Is everything included in the box or are there additional things/parts I have to buy??

I am wondering if this is all inclusive. Are there other pieces or materials I need to buy to put this together??
Asked by: Anonymous
Everything is with the kit. We used pallets and recycled plywood, And sealed inside to keep the moisture out. So it depends on how you want your floor, But yes everything comes with it but the wood or the fondation you set it on

can u put a lock on this shed?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes. The door handles are set up so that you can lock them together. They will not stop someone that is determined to get into your shed. But they will end up making a lot of noise doing it.

We've had it a couple of weeks and it has been a good little shed so far. Here's kind of an overview of the build process: Day 1 - Level ground. Add gravel and tamp down. (4 hours, 1 person) Day 2 - Buy shed, unpack, review instructions, pre-assemble some beams (2.5 hours, 2 people) Day 3 - Assemble & anchor shed (10 hours, 2 people - cannot stop until done or else shed may be damaged by wind) Day 4 - Assemble floor frame and install plywood floor (2 hours, 1 person) (optional) Overall cost $300 for shed $150 for gravel $35 for anchor kit $65 for plywood (optional) ----------------------- $550 total cost Last thing I want to note is that it is not a very tall shed. The pro side is that this makes it easy to assemble. The downside is that if you are tall you might bang your head a lot. You also can't do any storage in the eaves.

If you can afford to buy a shed that will be assembled by the store purchased from, I def. suggest that. It took me 2 months to find a handyman that would built it for me. Not even Handymen in Angie's list wanted to touch it. I finally found a company to do it and it took them an entire day, although everything was numbered, it had over 1000 very small screws. Now that it is up, I love it.

It collapsed because the wood frame was eaten by the termites. I immediately replaced it by this one, and I was pleased to see that now it has a steel frame. We assembled it (2 persons) ourselves, it was a lot of work (it took us about 10 hours, floor included) but we had no major problem in following the construction guidelines. Hopefully, it will again last 25 years and even more.

Using it to store my riding mower and lawn tools. However, there were several places where the instructions were not clear. This required me to take several pieces apart and turn them over or something else had to go on first. Don't believe the video. It was extremely over simplified. All said, take your time, you can do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! After messing with another Big Box Store that couldnt even help find us a shed after we called and placed it on hold. We found it on Home Depot's Mobile app and was able to comfirm that indeed that the store had it in stock. The app had it for $318.00 which we were happy about because the other one we were going purchace was $30 more. Read the reviews on the app on the way to the store and was pleasently suprised to find out that lots of people LOVED this product. We get to the store to puchace it and is even less that the app said it was!!!! $279 out the door we go! We just spent the afternoon and evening building it and couldnt be happier with our purchace!! I do recomend that you don't tackle this project on your own.

It took two "handy" people one 8 hour day and another 3 hour day to build, it has a LOT of screws and nuts! You will need two battery powered drills with screw heads and socket heads, two ladders, gloves and no wind - like at all - no wind! I build this on a cement pad so i didn't use the floor kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy Worked out great for two homeowners that I was doing work for. They were very satisfied. Plenty of space easy to install. The only suggestion I have is rubber washers instead of the plastic. Would make a better seal and assist with a little quicker install time

The ground framing does not screw into the structure which does not make sense. It is very flimsy as well as way too short for anyone over the age of 12.
