Answer:
So if you upgrade the roof think you would also need to upgrade the walls to hold up the roof + snow might think about a tough shed all wood construction and meant for harsh weather and built to last.
this is a California shed meant to protect your stored items from sun and shield from rains when we get them, walls are 22-24 gauge steel which is thin.

Answer:
We cannot guarantee it, we tell you in the manual to keep roof clear of snow, heavy amounts of snow on the roof can damage the building.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Assembly required. It was easy to assemble and when I found an issue with the way it ws packed and the dent that was in it on 3 or so side panel's the assistance to straighten out the issue was great. Now I just have to find matching paint for it. July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Big red barn My husband put this together, I helped when he got to the roof, it took him about a week. The metal is very thin and if it's windy you will have issues with it blowing around and bending while putting it together. He built a treated wood floor and screwed the shed to the floor but only when everything was finished, very important it is level or you will have issues making sides and roof line up. Some of the screw holes did not match up so he had to drill new ones. Once everything is assembled it seemed a little more solid but we haven't had a huge wind storm lately. It does leak so we will have to do something with the roof to seal it up before we start filling it up with our valuables. You should read the directions a few times to clearly understand as my husband had to redo a few things because directions leave out important information. If I had to do this all over again, I would buy a wood shed, something more stable. You get what you pay for. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by red barn The directions were hard to follow, incorrect and poorly illustrated. There was a part missing; but, it was replaced in a couple of days. We had to redo several steps because of the poor instructions, perhaps a dvd on each step would have been a lot better. August 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty awesome for a metal shed It took 2 full days with me (semi-knowledgeable & skilled) and a friend (expert) to assemble this shed. Okay, he assembled it, I helped out a little. Anyway - I needed his expertise to be able to set up a level & square foundation, and his tools to make it go faster. Otherwise, the directions were mostly clear, with only a few areas that made us scratch our heads. Many of the parts did not have part numbers on them & a few of the parts arrived with damage to the exterior coating which was a disappointment. The biggest challenge was the roof; the center panels of the roof require you to stand very near the top of a 6' ladder and from there be able to reach across the 3' panels, with a power screwdriver in hand, to secure them. It was not easy - especially since I'm only 5'5" & he's not much taller than I am. My suggested improvements would be: 1. Number ALL the parts &/or number the bags that contain them. 2. Make the roof panels narrower even if that means you have to have one more. 3. Update the description of the item on your website - it describes a totally different item. and finally: 4. Include a little bottle of touch-up paint in both the red & the white so that any minor dings & scratches can be treated immediately, and 5. We would have loved to been able to choose this structure in a different color. July 8, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst metal building ever Worst metal building ever, poorly designed, useless plans cheapest materiel, screws, nuts and bolts useless. Leaks like crazy, after one month, starts to rust, your company ought to be ashamed of itself. Don't look for any purchases from me. January 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Metal gauge should be heavier. 26 ga would work better. Building works well but we use our own sealant for joints. Shipping was fine, but needed to let shipping agent know what equipment to bring for removal of unit from truck. August 21, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by storage shed Building is shipped in one heavy box, building is then assembled. please note assembler should be cautious because side panels are very easily dented. January 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WORST PURCHASE EVER. NOT A ONE MAN JOB. SCREWS DON'T MATCH AND ARE TOO SMALL. ALOT OF PROBLEMS POOR QUALITY. VERY, VERY DISASSIFIED WITH IT December 11, 2015
