It took 2 full days with me (semi-knowledgeable & skilled) and a friend (expert) to assemble this shed. Okay, he assembled it, I helped out a little. Anyway - I needed his expertise to be able to set up a level & square foundation, and his tools to make it go faster. Otherwise, the directions were mostly clear, with only a few areas that made us scratch our heads.
Many of the parts did not have part numbers on them & a few of the parts arrived with damage to the exterior coating which was a disappointment.
The biggest challenge was the roof; the center panels of the roof require you to stand very near the top of a 6' ladder and from there be able to reach across the 3' panels, with a power screwdriver in hand, to secure them. It was not easy - especially since I'm only 5'5" & he's not much taller than I am.
My suggested improvements would be: 1. Number ALL the parts &/or number the bags that contain them. 2. Make the roof panels narrower even if that means you have to have one more. 3. Update the description of the item on your website - it describes a totally different item. and finally: 4. Include a little bottle of touch-up paint in both the red & the white so that any minor dings & scratches can be treated immediately, and 5. We would have loved to been able to choose this structure in a different color.

This Arrow Red Barn Storage Shed is great quality and very sturdy. My neighbor influenced my buying decision when he informed me that his Arrow shed had been installed over 25 years ago and is still standing and doesn't leak.
I bought this shed and glad I did. It took me and my wife approx. 6 hours and it was well worth it. I loaded it up with all my tools, riding lawnmower, pool supplies and some odds and ends. I priced other comparable dealers online like originalshelters.com and found that the value and price at Home Depot far exceeded my expectations. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Arrow Red Barn Shed to anyone needing to add some extra space around the garden or patio area.
There are a lot of parts and it can seem overwhelming at first look. However, the detailed assembly instructions make it easy to set up. Thank you Arrow Sheds for such a great storage shed and your prices are second to none.

Rated 5 out of 5 Metal gauge should be heavier. 26 ga would work better.
Building works well but we use our own sealant for joints.
Shipping was fine, but needed to let shipping agent know what equipment to bring for removal of unit from truck.

Purchased this shed because the height of the door. 69 in. x55 1/2 in. w.. The shed was delivered in one 387 pound box strapped to a pallet. On inventorying parts I noticed panels were bent, scratches and corner parts crushed on one end. Reported problem to Home Depot and Arrow sheds. Arrow sent out parts and I received in 9 days. I repaired bent panels and installed on sides not seen. The measurements given were the size of the roof. The bottom is smaller. I picked up small package of screws 1/2" - 32 with nuts for thick parts. 55- 3" x3" x 10' roof flashing to cover raw wood around outside wood deck. Looks good, shed overlaps flashing sealing deck from water. wood deck is 121" x 161 1/4".
The hardest part is putting the ridge cap on over roof panels screws with washer and put nut on inside shed. I used a 8' ladder inside.
The metal could be thicker only 26 gauge.

purchased this unit over 25 years ago and is still standing (minus the doors). it was installed by my self and my teenage daughter while my husband was on another project. i had elected to make a 6" deep concrete pad with gravel under it for my rear yard has streams. every sq. ft. of this unit was used even the metal rafter was for overhead storage without reinforcement. i am now going to replace it with the same. we used portable shelves along with stationary for the many types of machinery and tools etc.
we anchored it down with tie out dog cables at the time and they are still holding the shed in place, but then we were only girls being creative. this time we are extending the pad over the existing and pouring concrete columns, to incorporate a lean to for the firewood and additional oversize equipment. i highly recommend this product due to how it has stood up to the weather and the snow did not even dent the gable roof, the doors eventually came off because of the constant use.
