Customer Reviews

Garage Tall Locker-DISCONTINUED is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice cabinet The spacemaker garage cabinet is very sturdy and the fit and finish is excellent. The cabinet has high quality leveling feet which is very helpful on a concrete garage floor. The storage capcity is also very good. I bought this cabinet because it could accomodate my golf clubs, which it does very easily. The cabinet is a little pricey, but I'm not at all disappointed. The shipment time was only about 3 days, which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall...recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, with caveats I bought two of these for our garage and they are just terrific storage cabinets. Yes, they are spendy at nearly $400 each, but let's face it: you are looking at them because you are tired of cheap fiberboard cabinets with shelves that bow after 2 hours of use and start falling apart after a year or two. This Arrow locker is more than one step up from that, and about as good as you can get before you are forking over twice as much money for a more professional product. It represents a good compromise between price, value, and quality. And you get leveling feet! What more could you want? The catch, of course, is that you have to assemble them yourselves. This is a two to three hour task that can be done by one person, but is best done with a helper. The second person doesn't have to be handy, just available to push on parts that need pushing, or to hold pieces that need holding, while you put the screws in place. There are a couple of steps during assembly where it helps to have three or four hands, but you can do it all by yourself if you are patient. The metal is not as thin as other products, but it's still a series of sheet-metal panels that you have to screw together. That means the locker isn't really stable until you have most of it assembled (sides, back, base, and top). It's unfortunate that the back is two pieces as that certainly doesn't help with rigidity during assembly, but once it's together it is solid enough. You join the pieces using the provided self-drilling sheet metal screws, which you will quickly form a hate-hate relationship with. You'll be tempted to use a power screwdriver, but do be careful: it is possible to strip the holes in the panels if you use too much torque and too much speed when driving. Take it easy. You might find a couple of pieces where holes don't line up perfectly: this is where having a helper really pays off, as they can hold, push, or pull as needed to get things lined up. It comes with a couple of extra screws, which I didn't need, but no extra shelf clips, which I did. This is unfortunate but a minor nit. The finished product is solid, all shelves but the main, top one are adjustable. The center divider is also a permanent fixture but I did not find that to be an issue. Overall, it lets you make really good use of the storage space. I can't emphasize enough how much these have helped me clean up and organize the garage. Order it online and have them ship straight to your house since the box is about 120+ lbs. The shipping is built in to the cost. It will ship directly from Arrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent instructions and part labeling. This is a heavy duty metal cabinet, with very sturdy shelves and panels. The assembly process is best completed with a partner to hold and stabilize the pieces, but the assembly is very easy and the instructions clear and concise. Good labeling of each part aids the process, as do the clear illustrations. We completed the task in under 30 minutes with an electric screwdriver. A little pricey but far better than anything I saw elsewhere and far more sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value and well built. Easy to assemble with help from another person, still took over an hour. There is nothing at this price that compares to the quality. It is large enough to hold 3 sets of golf clubs on the one side.
