The TacMate T50X staple gun is one of our best-sellers. It shoots T50 staples up to 1/2-inch and is easier to squeeze than the heavy-duty T50. The T50 staple gun shoots T50 staples up to 17/32-inch and works better for people with larger grip spans and strength. Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 593 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did the Job I used the Tac Mate to reupholster a couple of kitchen stools. The wood was a very hard plywood. My older Swingline heavy duty stapler couldn't do the job. The staples were all bending into an "M" shape. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this stapler a shot. I used 1/4 inch staples and to my surprise they were able to penetrate the wood. I did tap the staples in a little bit but overall it did a good job. It was also very ease to use compared to my Swingline. It took very little pressure to shoot the staple. August 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Misfires and poor stapling Bought this to re-upholster cockpit bolsters for the boat. Basically asking it to staple through a layer of marine vinyl and a thin piece of plastic backing. Misfired constantly (9 of every 10). After changing out staples multiple times, it finally started shooting a few, but they would only get half-way in. Finished them with a hammer (which is a great look for white vinyl). Exchanging it today so I can finish the job. August 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by misfires After a cartridge of staples get half used, it misfires constantly. June 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by After some use, it broke As you pull the trigger, the metal expeller recedes and the spring loads the next staple. At least, that's what used to happen. Now, the metal expeller doesn't become flush before the trigger releases, so no staple loads. Product is no longer functional. Used for a couple small home projects before it broke. Very sad. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to reviews Bought this because of the ratings, and In my case, it failed miserably. Only fired a staple about half the time, and when it did they didn't get full penetration. I would not advise anyone to buy this June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the power! This is an awesome stapler! I've used it to staple through a number of layers of vinyl without any problems. Very impressed! I would certainly encourage others to try this product! August 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sleek powerful great gun! Looks feel use and varieties of staple sizes! This packs a punch yet so easy to push. Attractive design too. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to use. I really enjoyed using this stapler because it was very easy to operate. It was easy to load and it never jammed or anything else. I used it to install pieces of screen for our back porch and it made the job very easy and enjoyable. July 27, 2016
