I found the Rice paper easy to work with and it provided the privacy I was looking for and still allowed light to show. I would definitely recommend this product!

Applied to three sidelight panels in front door. Easy to use, opaque for privacy, allows diffused light. ☺

This product not only looks good, but it was very easy to apply. I was expecting to have trouble with this project, but I did not. The application process works best if a spray bottle of water and a clean, new squeegee is used. In my opinion, you do not need to buy the installation kit, but you do need either a super clean squeegee or a brand new one. The film is exactly 12" wide. My sidelights are a little bit wider than 12", so I just centered the film and it worked fine. I also put this same product on my back door window. Again, no difficulties. It was one of the few times the project took less time than I thought!

The rice paper window film was used on Plexiglas panels to defuse rope lighting. Was easy to install and does exactly what we expected. We will use again for similar prodjects

I have a rental that has a skinny window at the front door, the blinds have to be custom fitted for it. Dogs have destroyed it many times. This product could be the answer.

The product I purchased looks very much like rice paper unless you look very closely, and is a pretty thick, durable feeling film. I installed mine exactly as the package described. Keep in mind that the film stretches a bit when smoothing out the bubbles, so that if you cut it to exact size, it is a bit big during the process and the edges overlap then don't stick. It seems to shrink a bit again. I found that even when it looked perfect when installed, a few hours later, the edges lost their adhesion and from the back, the edge bubbles are visible and can not be removed since they just re-appear.
