We received the window film in a protective cardboard cylinder. The directions were very easy to follow. You must use scissors to cut the film. If you use anything else, it's difficult to cut. After thoroughly cleaning the window, you peel the cut film from it's backing. You then wet the window with water and place film into place. It says to use a squeegee to set film but I didn't have one so I used a credit card to set film in place and disperse water. Once it's set and all water and air bubbles are removed from behind film it's ready. It was very easy to install. I wish there was a longer size available as this didn't quite cover both top and bottom Windows.

We got this film to replace another design that we’ve had in our shower “porthole” window for about a year. The moisture finally caused the other film to shrivel. It lasted a long-time, so we thought we’d give this product another try, because the window placement requires privacy and its not conducive to using a shade or curtain.
Installation was not difficult, the most challenging aspect was to measure and cut the film to the right shape and size. I used the prior film (which peeled right off of the window) as a template, traced the shape onto the new film with a #2 pencil and cut along the traced lines. I wet the window with a generous spray of water, and it easily slid into place on the window. An old credit card served as a perfect squeegee to remove any air bubbles below the film. If you're starting from scratch, I recommend using a newspaper or cardboard for a template, since the film is not very forgiving of cutting errors (meaning, you will probably notice erroneous cuts).
The new cloud design is pleasing, but did not let as much light through as the design it replaced (which was more of a white translucent glass-like design), and it was not quite as much to my liking. Looking up close, I notice dirt/debris on the outside of the window showing through as a shadow near the edges, so I’m not sure I would pick this design again. I would prefer a design that does a better job of hiding outside widow debris, smudges and dirt.
Otherwise the film serves the intended purpose and works well.

I have purchased this before for a port hole window that was in my Master bathroom in an apartment near Port Aransas, TX. Now I am a school teacher in West Texas. This year our theme for the school is "Teach like a Pirate". I have six small 36"x12" windows that face out into a hallway. I think it will be perfect for an added accent inside and outside the room.

This window film could not be easier to install! It does not have an adhesive backing that would stick and leave residue, but it does stay in place very easily, sort of like "static electricity cling" I suppose would be one way to explain it. All I know is that it works well! Re-positioning or removal and re-use in another window is very simple! Just lift a corner and it comes right off with no clean up required. I cuts well with just a pair of scissors. Another benefit is that it protects the inside of your house from the Sun's UV rays, but it still allows filtered light to get in. I would highly recommend this window film for windows where you want some privacy but also some daylight!

Easy installation, good appearance and we used the same product over 8 years ago at another job site and the older one still looks good.
