Customer Questions & Answers

will it stay on if the window is always getting wet from a shower?

window in the shower so it gets wet daily will this stay on?
Asked by: gwen
not sure what I am doing wrong. I put mine on a bathroom window. and it will not stay up. first it curls at the corners then just falls off. it is a heavier plastic than I expected. I thought it would be a thin stick to the window type film. ( an aluminum texture or thickness) like I have bought in the past.

Can it be used in garage windows in cold climate?

Asked by: Ann
While the cold may have an effect on the product's overall lifespan, it shouldn't affect the product's function after application. When applying the product to the window, you will want the temperature to be between 50 and 70 degrees.

24 in. x 36 in. Etched Glass Decorative Window Film is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big difference for a small price We needed to cover a window for privacy but still let in light. Initially we were going to use a pull down shade or curtain but then we discovered this film. It was so easy to install and leaves no permanent holes or marks on the window and can easily be removed. It looks great as well, love it!

I usually do not make reviews for products I buy but this film really helped us greatly. We recently moved into our home and needed to ensure people from inside or outside cannot see through the glass part of the front door. Since we already have a peep hole this film did the trick. I have had it for over a month and it still looks like the door came with an etched glass. Ensure you purchase the Window Film Application Kit as it helps with applying the film.

I found it difficult to install on the oval glass shape of my entrance door. After following all the instructions, I have notice that the bottom half is separating from the window. I have applied Scotch tape to the top just in case it becomes detached altogether.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as expected Skip the install kit and just get plastic Bondo spreaders or spatulas in the paint dept. Spray bottle also necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to apply, complete privacy I applied this in no time, it needs no adhesive. It is simply a thick type of window cling that you spritz water on window, gently begin to roll this on and it sucks it to the glass. Kind of like the film that goes on your cell phone or iPad to protect it, same concept. I used a rag to work the air bubbles out. Ours has been up for 6 months and have not had to reapply. If you have something close to the window, you can make out its shape or possibly what it is but ours is a front window that guests tend to lean to in attempt to see in at no avail. I suggest a very sharp blade to cut after measuring, scissors will not work.
