Answer:
I did the top half with the film with shutters on the bottom. You can see a shadow, however you could see a shadow with a mini blind also. My tub is next to the window

Answer:
Although you cannot see through this magnolia pattern, film does not provide complete privacy. That is to say, if someone is in your bathroom, their shadowy image will be visible to someone on the other side of the window. Hope this helps. I am quite happy with my windows.

Answer:
Shadows can be discernible from the outside at night with the lights on, and the closer to the window the more discernible the object. I think it's interesting that a contractor/architect would put a window right there!

Answer:
Artscape window films can be applied to any smooth non-textured surface such as glass or plexi-glass. Applying our film to a wall could be problematic if there is any texturing on the wall, in addition the film will appear very dark without light coming from the other side.

Answer:
Applied very easily with a clean spray bottle with water and a couple drops of dish liquid soap. Spray on the window, apply the film and you have plenty of time to remove bubbles, re-situate etc. The soap/water activates the shiny applied side of the film and dries. The film is very nice quality to work with.. not too thin for example. Feels like a sheet of vinyl.

Answer:
Ive had this film on my window since 2002 and I only had to prep the window, i.e. clean and dry, and peel and stick. The trick was to get the design lined up. It took 4 rolls of product to maintain the line of the design. I think it stays in place by force of static cling.

Complete instructions are included. I also viewed it on YouTube. I would recommend NOT purchasing the kit, all you need is a squeegee, a spray bottle with lightly soaped water, a measuring device and a very sharp utility knife.

I have a floor-to-ceiling window in my large shower. It would definitely get wet during showers. Do you think it would stay in here to the window, After put in place properly?

Answer:
I would not recommend putting this film on a bathroom window. The steam and excessive moisture may cause the film to bubble and/or to pull away from the window. you may want to check into etching your window. There are some beautiful etching techniques available for the do it yourselfer. Hope this helps

Answer:
Yes, it will stay. Take care that the product lays flat edge to edge so that it does not come in contact with the window frame. Be sure to squeegee out all of the soapy water and air bubbles. If tiling multiple images together, be sure to match the factory edges so that they abut and do not overlap. I recommend allowing a full 24 hours after application before turning the shower on.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Results Easy to work with! Absolutely loved working with this product. Super easy application. I used a credit card to remove bubbles and get into the edges etc. This window gets super hot in the sun and after a couple months, there is no effect at all on the film. It is suggested in the instructions to cut it a tiny bit smaller than needed (since the film stretches a tiny bit) but with the squares I had to do, I ended up with tiny visible spaces around the edges which I easily 'caulked' with a tiny amount of white clay and credit card to match my white trim. No problems, I really love the results and I would recommend this product. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful! I remodeled the bathroom and was looking for something different to replace the mini blinds. I can honestly say this gives the window a whole new look. I am so glad I made this purchase. And it was easy to apply. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Love this product ... put it on my side door and it really looks great in my kitchen. You also cannot see through it which is great! I thought about adding French door curtains and rods, but this window film did the trick and looks great! October 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Problems develop after 7 years installed This product has a limited life span. I installed it about 7 years ago. Over that time, the film hardened and started to show signs of cracking. The damage occurred scattered throughout the whole area. When I decided to replace the film, it was very difficult to remove. The film would not peel off easily. I had to remove it with a razor blade scrapper. During the removal process, the scrapping produced hundreds of small film particles, which was very messy. This product is made from vinyl and becomes brittle over time. May 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful look and easy to apply I have East and West facing windows over my doors, this window film was easy to apply and lets just enough sunlight in. April 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So real looking I was at an old house for a family reunion and the owner had this in some of her windows. I thought it was stained glass until I went up to it and touched it and realized what it was. I have some of this in my house but in a different pattern and I had no idea that what she had up was "fake". I'm going to buy some in this pattern for a window in my house. Absolutely love it August 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful, but... Yes, I would recommend this product, HOWEVER, be sure to Open the Package and Inspect for burrs, smears and/or tears. I purchased two sheets. One was perfect, the other was not. I didn't notice the bad area until after it had been installed. By then, it was too late. The person who installed it was only here for the day and I can never have it replaced. I cannot do it myself. I'm hoping HD will offer me a rebate due to the damage to the one sheet. I will include photos. December 29, 2015
