We Live in a Colder Area

The temps during the winter can drop below Zero sometimes to -30 degrees below will this hold up in the window. Thank You.
Asked by: Kristin
I have it on my bathroom window and the temperature here has dropped into the low teens. The film is applied on the inside of the window so you should be ok. Make sure to allow 1/16 of an inch between the edge of the film and the window frame (as explained in the instructions). This allows for expansion and contraction as the window changes in temperature.

can this be applied to the outside of the window?
Asked by: sparks
Yes... as long as the window isn't too textured ... like some of the ones that have pebbled surface? You could possibly apply it but it wouldn't look that good and may be more difficult to do. The Artscapes website tells you more in detail in their FAQ section. I would investigate that. Just put in Artscapes window film in a search engine.
