Answer:
Our films can be applied to any smooth and non-textured surface. The film will not be negatively effected by the steam or even occasional spray it would be subjected to in a bathroom shower application.

How do I fix Wisteria window film when the corner is begining to peel off?

After 3 years in my bathroom window, the corner of the film began to curl. It would not stick back to the glass no matter how many times I tried. I tried it in winter with absolutely no success. Now, I am trying it in summer, hoping that the film is softer and more pliable, but in vain. After two days the corner begins to curl again. I even sprayed deionized water under the corner. No luck. Q1: Any idea???
Q2: Is there any way to renew the static cling if I were to remove it from a small glass plane (9x10), clean the glass squeaky clean with alcohol, and re-apply the film again? I need to retain Wisteria pattern with adjacent window planes. I have similar problem on two more large windows consisting of 9x10 small glass planes. Please help!

Answer:
Our Artscape Window Film has a lifespan of about 3 years. The pieces use suction to create a seal and stay attached to the glass, so once they've reached a certain age, the film will not be able to hold that seal. It sounds like you've done everything possible to extend the lifespan of the product, but at this point we would suggest getting a replacement piece for your window.

Answer:
Hello Carol and thank you for your question.
To remove the Artscape window films, you simply peel the vinyl from the glass surface starting at a corner. There should be no residue since the window film is adhered without adhesives.
Best wishes on your project.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the colors!! PROS: Perfect for blocking out sunlight and adding privacy to the the room. Easy to install. CONS: The wisteria pattern is bigger than what is illustrated in the picture. That said, it adds a nice decorative touch to my living area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decorative Windows Instead of buying blinds,my daughter picked out this for her room, especially since I've used something similar to this for my porch windows. It was easy for her to install and she really liked the easy installation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty design, some shrinkage cutting and installing the film was overall pretty easy. the instructions were clear and complete, and even with an unusually-shaped window i ended up with a pretty nice look and no bubbles. however, what the instructions don't mention is that there will be some shrinkage from what you measure & cut. i measured twice before making my incisions to be sure that (in my odd-shaped window) the film would fit properly in the space. however, the film shrank once it was released from the backing paper, and i was left with over .5" of uncovered window space on each side. also, if you're not really careful in removing the backing paper, you'll end up with little shreds of it stuck to the back of the film and they are virtually impossible to get off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great new use for this gorgeous decorative window film! I have used this product before on windows, so when we wanted to replace our old patio table but did not want to spend much money, I decided to use the film on our old table, applying it on the underside of the glass, to keep the film protected. I created a look alike Tiffany stained glass table, which would normally cost about $20,000 or more, but I made ours with the cost of just 4 rolls of window film, for less than $95! So far it is holding up well to our cold Winter weather.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would Not Come Off In Long Run- Ruined Window The product has a great look, offers creative and affordable solutions to privacy and decor, but with only minimal facing sun in the morning hours, I could not get it removed at all. Properly installed, I contacted the manufacturer, they were polite but not helpful at all. I have to purchase a new window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and versatile As many other reviewers have said, this is beautiful and very easy to install. We have a large, acrylic glass block tile window that lets too much light in, and this product turned out to be a perfect solution. I cut each square by hand, applied each one individually, and used 2 and 2/3 rolls to complete it. The film was very easy to work with and the whole project took me only around 3 hours, which included an extra trip to HomeDepot for the 3rd roll. We can't be happier with the immediate results! The only thing I can't comment on yet is how well the film will hold up to the brutal Texas sun, which hits this window dead on and heats it up dramatically during our long hot summers. In the meantime, we are enjoying this beautiful window! I uploaded before and after pics in case someone else had a similar style window.
