My townhome has a frosted glass door except for the number of the unit, that's clear glass. It always creeps me out that guest/strangers can walk up to the unit and peer inside. The film was easy to apply, we found that using a plastic card (i.e. credit card) works wonders to get the last of the tiny bubbles out. It's way cheaper and less intrusive than installing door blinds. It looks great and give us the privacy we want.

I love this product! I live in a ground level suite with several windows that have privacy issues. I was able to cover three small windows with one package of the product, with more left over! The product was very easy to use, looks great and lets in the light that I need! It is clean and modern looking and much more economical than buying full window coverings. I will definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

I've tried another window film from another big box store, but it was very thin and stretchy; very difficult to work with. This stuff's more expensive, but worth every penny.
Looks great and really easy to apply!

This was a breeze to install and it looks real good too! The film is pretty thick and does not tear easily. It did not stick to itself when separating it from the paper backing, which was one less thing to worry about during installation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TIMid Professional completed look, Easy installation
This product worked as advertised. Our assembly area has large windows on two sides and sometimes people work late hours, so we wanted a some privacy to add a little safety. As you can see from the photos this film did what it supposed to (room lights off to show film opacity). Here are some installation tips from my experience with 14 windows:
Use two people to install large pieces and take your time.
Measure the window to within 1/16", mark the paper backing side of the film and cut with a straight edge if possible.
Cut the film a half inch longer in one direction and trim the excess at the very last step w/ a ruler or straight edge held against the window edge using a razor blade or Exacto knife
Thoroughly spray the window w/ water and use a squeegee (must have) to spread the film.
Get it lined up in the corner and one side and work outward.
If not perfect try to slide (again, lots of water) or start over before trimming.
Check for air bubbles from both sides of the window while its still really wet and squeegee aggressively towards the closest edge.
It seems to stay on very well over time. I wonder if it will work on a window on roll up door that has allot of movement and its sometimes on the underside?
This is a very good product. Highly recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Verne Served the intended purpose
The film was used on the outside of a window to difuse a focused sun reflection that was causing heat damage to a neighbors vinyl siding.
Product was used, BUT,required special handling.
The paper backing on the static cling side of the plastic film did not come off the product cleanly in some places.. Where the backng paper stuck to the window film, it required careful removal and cleaning so as not to damage the static cling film surface.
Once cleaned up, the film was easily installed and performed as advertised.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MrsFixIt Nice but doesn't offer enough privacy for a bathroom
The product was easy to install and looked great on our bathroom window. At first we thought it even looked very private while still allowing plenty of sunlight through the frosting. During the day you can't see out or in through the window. However, at night, with the lights on in the house, if you are standing outside you can see a person standing at the window inside the bathroom. If the person inside the house is more than 3 feet from the window you can't make out any features, just a silhouette, but if that person walks closer to the window you can see facial features, etc. of the person in the bathroom. This is an excellent product for almost any room other than the bathroom. It does provide some privacy but not enough for a bathroom.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by weekendwarrior Excellent Product for DIY'ers
The product effectively provides privacy while allowing light to pass through. I installed the product on a set of French doors leading to my master bath. The product was relatively easy to install. The only challenge I had was a result of minor inconsistencies in the sizes of the individual glass panes and not the product itself. This resulted in having to trim the film while applying it to the glass. If you cut the film even slightly too large the edges won't adhere properly to the glass and need to be carefully trimmed. NOTE: it's VERY important to maintain a sharp edge on you cutting tool. Even moderately dull edges will cause tearing of the product while trimming. I also found it a bit difficult to completely remove air bubbles. Although almost all air bubbles were easily removed with a squeegee, there were the occasional tiny air bubbles that I found virtually impossible to remove. I'm a bit OCD so this probably wouldn't be an issue for most people and isn't overtly noticeable. Overall I'm very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend this product for others to use.
