Can this product be installed on the inside of a glass shower enclosure?
Asked by: Zony
The product can be installed on the inside of a glass shower enclosure. It will not be affected by steam or spray but the material is vinyl so much like a shower curtain it will be subjected to soap scum and discoloration.

I am not interested in privacy since the window is above the front door. I enjoy looking out at the clouds etc. but we need to cut the glare. What would be the best product?
Asked by: NJ
None of the patterns are transparent, and the ones that would best block the glare will also obscure the view. Depending on where the sun hits on the window, a decal might be better, blocking the sun on a certain part of the window without affecting the rest.

Does this help insulate the window? The windows next to my front door are clear, I really don't want to put curtains over them as I would like the light, but the curtain does help insulate.
Asked by: Susie
Our window film will provide some insulation, it is not the products' primary function. Because of this, we do not have specific information on how much the film will insulate.

What film has the most privacy?

Asked by: EO
Texture Twelve falls in our privacy collection, other items to consider would be the Etched Glass, Rice Paper or Blue Chip that may be even more private.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meets the intended purpose When we refreshed our two bathrooms recently we decided to remove the miniblinds from the windows for safety reasons (we have a toddler). However, we have only a 1/4 acre lot and the neighbors would be able to see into the bathrooms at night. I wanted a solution that would provide privacy while allowing light into the rooms and this film fit the bill. I've used the spray frosting material before and thought it was messy and inconsistent in application. I purchased a window film application kit, which I recommend for this product. I cut the pieces of film with scissors to a size approx. 1/2" wider and longer than the windowpanes and then squeegeed and trimmed to fit. The process took maybe 20-30 minutes per window, and that's with a total of 12 panes to apply the film to on each window. A word of warning - DO NOT get the paper backing wet! I got a drop of the solution on one of the pieces and was left with a persistent white spot on the film. I had my husband stand progressively closer to the window at night with the light on and I went into the backyard to check the privacy level. Yes, if you're within around a foot of the window you can see the shape of the person but not any details, and if you're further away all you see is a blur. I have no problem with the level of privacy afforded by this film (both of our bathrooms face our backyard and the view from a neighbor's home would be incidental). We are so pleased by the quality of this film that I'm buying the Magnolia pattern to apply to the windows in our kitchen door.
