I bought this product to cover the long window beside the entrance door of my house.
I choose this product because I need privacy without loosing the possible of having light to come in through the window. This product is really fit to my need and expectation. I still have the light to lighten up the entrance or hall way so the room is not too dark. That's the beauty of it. And with this textured window film people from the outside won't have a clear view to the inside. That is privacy
This product is taking only a short time to install, it is very fast and easy. The instruction comes with the product.
In just a short time, I can enjoy the privacy without sacrificing the light that I need to brighten the hall way.
In a short sentence: "I really love the product" Thank you

I purchased this product 9 years ago when I didn't know what to do about the seven hard to reach upper windows in my house that gave my nosey neighbors and a pretty busy street a stones throw away full view to whatever was happening upstairs in my house. Who hasn't had to at one time or another streak through their house for a towel or robe? I didn't want to spend too much money on this project because we were talking about relocating. This product took care of my privacy issues, was totally easy to apply. I recommend that you follow instructions exactly like instructions tell you for easy, perfect cuts, and no sweat applying to the glass needing cover. You need to use the tool provided to smooth out any bubbles which is a snap to do with the handy film smoother provided. It's so easy my granddaughter could do a window. Funny thing though we never relocated. I fixed up the house so well with so little money that we began to enjoy our coming home to relax. I found these films also that look like stained glass and did a front porch window and two other windows where I didn't want to use traditional window treatments. Those just turned "9 years up" at my house. My first project on the upper windows hit their 9 yr mark last spring. No fading from the sun. No peeling, NO PROBLEMS! I've had hundreds of people (since 2003) comment on my beautiful windows who were amazed that I used just window film to keep the light coming in and the rest of the world's eyes out for such a reasonable price. This product is really one product that you get more than what you pay for. I didn't expect it to last this long. I know I'll still have this product another 5 years from now if not just needing a change and replacing it sooner. I'll replace with new window film from same company that I know is a done deal. I'll always have this product some where in my house.

When we refreshed our two bathrooms recently we decided to remove the miniblinds from the windows for safety reasons (we have a toddler). However, we have only a 1/4 acre lot and the neighbors would be able to see into the bathrooms at night. I wanted a solution that would provide privacy while allowing light into the rooms and this film fit the bill. I've used the spray frosting material before and thought it was messy and inconsistent in application.
I purchased a window film application kit, which I recommend for this product. I cut the pieces of film with scissors to a size approx. 1/2" wider and longer than the windowpanes and then squeegeed and trimmed to fit. The process took maybe 20-30 minutes per window, and that's with a total of 12 panes to apply the film to on each window. A word of warning - DO NOT get the paper backing wet! I got a drop of the solution on one of the pieces and was left with a persistent white spot on the film.
I had my husband stand progressively closer to the window at night with the light on and I went into the backyard to check the privacy level. Yes, if you're within around a foot of the window you can see the shape of the person but not any details, and if you're further away all you see is a blur. I have no problem with the level of privacy afforded by this film (both of our bathrooms face our backyard and the view from a neighbor's home would be incidental).
We are so pleased by the quality of this film that I'm buying the Magnolia pattern to apply to the windows in our kitchen door.
