We are looking for a quieter stove than our current one. The one we have is too large for our home and overheats us and the fan is pretty loud (dual fan)

Answer (1)

Answer:
This unit comes with an exhaust fan and a room fan, which can create a slight hum when the room fan kicks on due to the CFM output. However, this unit should not be considered "loud" due to the fans.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Having much trouble with this The stove has required much of my time. It has filled with smoke and the smoke came into room from glass insert. It has gone out. It doesn't heat the amount of area stated. I am considering an exchange.TT February 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ashley pellet stove We've owned a Quadrifire for seven years and the Ashley is much improved in almost every way. The operation controls are totally automatic...just push a button! Cleaning is also very easy. This stove is advertised on the internet at high end stores for $3449 under the name, Breckwell, the manufacturer. HD sells this identical model for $1699!....super buy, super stove. The salesman who sold the stove was very accomadating and helpful. December 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Way Ever To Heat Your Home Made by US Stove you couldn't buy a better pellet stove. I purchased mine the end of last year but didn't get it set up till this past summer. I was able to download the owners manual online, and the instructions that came with it were complete and concise in instructing a person on exactly how to install the stove and any pipe work for the chimney. Connecting a thermostat to it (purchased at Walmart, and the wire for it at local hardware) was super simple and sure makes it nice. I get up in the morning flip the switch on the thermostat and the stove comes on automatically. No need to use starter gels or matches to get it started. It has a super electric starter that fires up the pellets in no time at all. I have a 2208 sq ft home and even with the cold weather we've had lately it keeps my home warm and toasty. When the temp you set on the thermostat is reached the stove shuts off automatically. I find it is very easy to keep clean, and only need to do it about every third day. I'm a 67 year old great grandma and I couldn't be happier with my new pellet stove. It looks great and performs beautifully. The big bay window and two side windows are really beautiful. The fire inside is wonderful to look at. Believe me when I say you won't go wrong in purchasing this one. I know, I checked online for over a month and for the money this one can't be beat. Actually, there is another pellet stove out there that is the exact same pellet stove, manufactured by the same company but sold under a different name with a cost of over $3,000.00. You can guess which one I purchased. December 2, 2014
