Just had the door professionally installed. The door rattles when you close it. The side windows were not square. The installer said it was not worth the money. It feels like a cheap door. Weather strip is cheap. Waiting to see in winter if it leaks.

Purchased this door to replace a sliding door. This was a fantastic upgrade to what was installed. Had this door professionally installed and was well worth the money. I was experiencing leaks from my slider, replaced this door and found that there wasn't the draft I had before. I upgraded the door glass to low e glass, and what a difference in heat loss. The door was warm to the touch over the old pvc frame that was there and it definitely made the kitchen warmer. The wood frame took the stain nicely, one coat of mahogany stain, it has a rich tone to the finish. The side light work fantastic with no issues. I like that it leaves a lot of air in during spring and fall. I feel that the door is secure because it doesn't look like a door sidelight. It looks like a window, you can't tell it's a door from outside.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by lor332 pretty door doesn t mean it s safe
we bought this door, its looks awesome, and the wife loved the side opening doors for letting air in.
now if you look at this door from a safety point of view, the lock has no really support behind it, theirs only about 1/2 of wood that separate s the lock from the interior, so if you really put some weight on it, the lock will break through the wood, when I called the manufactor and they being sold, he was very nice about telling oh well, MAKE SURE YOU GET A DOOR WITH A 3 POINT LOCKING SYSTEM. this door is very pretty, but has NO SECURITY VALUE AT ALL

nice door. unhappy that wood portions stain radically different on door. side where handle is stained 8-10 shades darker than rest of door making an unpleasant contrast. at the price of the door i expected a more even appearance.

I paid over $3,300 for this door- I ordered it with many manufacturer upgrades and it was professionally installed. The door and both sidelites leak terribly. Water actually runs into my living room from the bottom of the door and sidelites when it rains. The top of the door warped days after it was installed. When I called the company they said there is nothing they would do. Don't let the "warranty" fool you. This door should only cost as much as a storm door because that's all the protection form wind, rain, cold and snow will you get from it. I have had to replace my flooring surrounding it once already and I'm going to have to do it again when a new door is installed. Do NOT waste your time and money on this door or company.

My son-in-law bought this door. He asked me to install it. I have installed a lot of doors of all sorts over the years. This undoubtedly was the most difficult I have ever installed. It took almost 8 hours to install it. Nothing fit. The adjusting hinges were almost out of adjustment when we hung it, leaving little adjustment range left. The pre-drilled holes for the hardware were out of alignment with the door handles. The threshold sweeps for one sidelight and the door fell off. The one for the door was split and broken ans will need to be replaced. The instructions have you drill 11 holes to anchor the frame. They sent 10 screws. These are metric screws so standard screws will work as a replacement, but the heads don't quite go through the holes you drill to recess them in the cladding. And the heads on the supplied screws, being metric, do not fit your driver well, which causes them to round. They can be driven maybe twice. If you need to run them in and out more than one time, you need to use a premium grade deck screw.
When all finished, you almost have to slam the door to get it to latch and there is no adjustment to compensate. The door hardware had a separate installation manual. It was 8 pages of vague information that when followed, did not work.
Overall, I would not, I repeat would not recommend this to anyone as a purchase. And Home Depot does a disservice to their customers by not being informed to the many options that would make this a better fit, or at least a better product if the customer insists on buying this over priced, under valued, low manufactured quality product

I love the cross breeze I get with the side lite opened! Best decision I made in a long time installing this door.

This door is not worth the money. One of the side doors was not built correctly to fit the frame. They sent the wrong hardware, it was to small for the door, called to get new hardware and it's been a month and i have to received any new hardware so door is in usable. Not worth the money get Anderson or pella if your going to spend the money
