Hello msBobvila! A chop saw (motorized miter saw) is recommended for straight cuts. A jig saw or scroll saw is recommended for non-straight cuts. For circular cuts, a hole saw works well. See Aspect Tile Installation Guide for additional information. All cutting blades should be carbide-tipped or high-speed steel, and made for cutting nonferrous metal. When cutting is complete, use a fine-grit sandpaper or a small metal file to debur the cut edges. Take the cut tile to the work space and place it in its intended location and make sure it fits properly.
Alternative Option:
A utility knife with a sharp blade can also be used for straight cuts on the tiles. Measure and mark the tile where the cut must be made with a marker on the protective film. Using a straight edge, score along the entire tile using a utility knife. Carefully make a few passes with a bit more pressure each pass. Bend back and forth until tile separates. They look the Same or very close, but the later has reviews that talk about the edges being kind of beat up, and therefore needing extra tile. I actually bought these tile a few years ago and had the same issue. Are the Aspect tile heavier and If I pay more per box am I going to get a better product? Will I eliminate that problem?

These are the most beautiful finished product and relatively easy to install. You will love them.

Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. Depending upon the substrate the tiles were adhered to, or the heat index the tiles are reaching could be impacting the tiles. PL Premium can be used as an additional adhesive to alleviate this issue. Please feel free to contact our customer care team at 800.434.3750 for further troubleshooting assistance. Thank you!

Answer:
Could be because of the material you stuck it too. If you have that happen you can put tile glue on the back of it and that would eliminate that problem.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aspect Metal Home Project The aspect metal long and short grain stainless steel backsplash is a wonderful product. I remodeled my kitchen and choose this product for the look and it being a self adhesive product. I would recommend this product to anyone who is wanting a stainless steel backsplash with a side of flare! July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brushed nickel backsplash Used them around a bathroom mirror in place of a frame. Great easy upgrade for $30. Warning, they stick! There is no repositioning once they are on. Great product October 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great It looks great! I bought more to go in another part of our home. October 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by returned! after reconsidering my purchase and installation--I returned my purchase. first reason, and while the tiles are attractive, there is absolutely no room for play at installation. by this I mean, no walls are "dead-on" square and once these tiles are placed you cannot remove them to make adjustments. if you want perfection in placement, these are not the tile. second, I expected the tiles to be somewhat reasonable in price....once I bought them and was unsure of my decision to take a chance on their placement (by a pro) I realized you pay dearly for not having to grout them and the labor! finally, cutting the tiles might not be a clean sharp edge, (if you like perfection) and the end caps are, in my opinion, cheap looking. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use Really love this back splash. Very easy to install. Used a Dremel tool to cut around outlets. March 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grear looking back splash I used this product to go over a cracked mirrored backdrop behind my cook top. It went on easily and looks great. Great value and appearance for the money. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Look! It took my husband and I over a year to find this tile. Most come with a ceramic back which made it very difficult to get a nice clean cut on the metal. My husband said this was very easy to work with and to cut. We love the look and it's very easy to keep clean! Great product! December 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the finished look! The tiles were extremely easy to install. It would be nice to have a choice of half tiles so you don't have to cut them to get the staggered look. But, I love the finished product! October 13, 2015
