Customer Reviews

88 in. x 156 in. Panel of Hybrid Hurricane Fabric that Replaces Traditional Storm Shutters, Panels and Screens is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Alternative--not very easy in concrete This is a light, strong, less expensive alternative to metal shutters. I got them because several windows are quite tall and the metal panels were difficult to handle at that length. The videos look impressive, but keep in mind that a window could still break because the product has a flex. But, it is designed to keep water and wind out even if a window breaks. My greatest caution--if you intend to mount the anchors in concrete, take great care in installation of anchors. Consider getting professional help if you have tall windows. The advantage to these is light weight, ease of storage, and less expense. They are not as easy to install in concrete as the video shows. If you must install them in concrete window frames, use a high quality larger anchor, stainless bolts, thoroughly blow the dust out of the hole with compressed air (in a can), and be prepared to have to carefully cement in the anchors (putting tape over the inside anchor hole to keep cement out of the anchor threads). Don't tighten down too firmly on the anchor bolts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Look for color splotches! Good material and equally good support BUT, after I cut my material I found color splotch irregularities - look carefully before you cut!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Check color first! After trimming to size I discovered splotches where the color bled. Great material and good instructions but not consistent color.
