My previous answer was for the 10" X 24 tooth ripping blade. I didn't realize HD had grouped together the Avanti blades of all different types, both their reviews & questions. Not helpful at all, especially the reviews that don't pertain to the blade one is looking at.

This blade is not ideal for a miter saw because a miter saw crosscuts almost always. This saw blade is designed for ripping (cutting with the grain lengthwise) & would leave a rougher finish than the more numerous number teeth in a crosscutting or combination blade, when used for crosscutting. The rip blade would be passable for rough cut, framing work in a miter saw, in a pinch. The ripping blade leaves Read More

Answer:
It shows right on the saw blade that it works on miters saws and table saws. Most circular saws are 7 1/4 or smaller.

Answer:
It will cut aluminum if you turn the blade around so the teeth cut on the back side. I have used blades like this to cut steel roofing and the blade was still fine for cutting wood. Be sure to use safety goggles and long sleeves.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed for the project at hand. I had to build numerous display structures out of 3/4 inch plywood for a retail store the my daughter and her boyfriend were opening. This blade did a great job with very little splintering. June 21, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saw Blade Blade worked as designed, no excessive tear out or wobbling December 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great blade for the price. I bought this blade to cut a bunch of plywood to build shelving for a closet. The cut was very smooth with almost no chipping. The blade did get dull towards the end of my project. When it got dull it still did fairly well with chipping, but the cuts took much longer and taxed the saw motor more. It's a good blade for cutting a plywood if it's for one moderately sized project or just occasional use, especially if money is an issue. If you need to make a lot of cuts you should probably spend a little more on a carbide tipped blade that will last longer and can be sharpened. Overall I thought it was an excellent value for the price March 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 10 in. x 200-Tooth OSB/Plywood Saw Blade The saw blade did and excellent job of cutting very thin plywood. the edges of the cuts were very smooth and no splintering. September 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best tool for the job The perfect tool for the job for cutting laminate flooring, nice smooth cut and no burning on edge. September 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly good Used this blade to cut and grove melamine boards. It quickly started to burn the wood and smoke when cutting. I also used it to cut acrylic plastic pieces, which worked just fine. I returned to Home Depot to discuss the issue with them. They recommended this blade actually be used for much thinner pieces of wood, like panelling, since there were several small teeth. The recommended blade for cutting hardwoods, like MDF, melamine & red oak, is a fine cut 60 tooth blade. I ended up buying the DeWalt 60 tooth blade for cutting my melamine & red oak - which works perfectly. This blade still works great for cutting the acrylic plasitc sheets. March 20, 2010
