Inside: 13.5" wide 12"deep 24" high.... I very much doubt a 6.5 gallon carboy (for home brewing?) would fit.

28-Bottle Wine Cooler is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware will only last two years So i have had this product almost two years but it has died one month before it hit two years. It just flat out quit working for no reason. It has sat in the same place and barely been touched other than filling with wine. It looks great but you get what you pay for. Like most people have stated my unit was delivered damaged as well. I decided to put up with it since it was in the back of the unit as well. It worked decently for some time. But i wouldnt recommend this unit. Do your research and check the reviews. This is a last resort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Great I bought via Home Depot after reading reviews for various units on multiple sites and having owned a Wine Enthusiast model previously, I was not sure what to fully expect, but am very pleased thus far. This unit is incredibly quiet, a bit more spacious for tapered bottles (e.g pinot), and needed a bit less space for the footprint (the shape of the motor prevents it from sticking out more from the wall). I put in 25 bottles and the unit had no problem cooling them all and quickly coming to the set temperature and staying there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exceeds expectations The cooler keeps wine cool even in a garage environment. Very quiet and energy-efficient. Lock-out of controls prevents anyone from playing with the settings. Good use of inside space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'd buy this wine cooler again. I shopped around before I chose this wine cooler and I have to say for the price and quantity it holds, it was a great buy. It has maintained the set temperature and with the moveable wire shelves, it also holds larger champagne bottles. It's not too bulky and fits well into the space I want it in. I'd recommend this item to anyone who was looking for quality and a good deal, on a wine cooler.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performs as advertised so far (2 months) This wine chiller is compact and quiet...our refrigerator makes more noise. The on-off cycling is very acceptable after 2 months...it is also January in the Desert, so the in-house temperature is cool, 69-74˚ and the chiller cycles on for 4-5 minutes and off for 13-15 minutes. I'll be curious to see what the on-off cycle will be as the temperatures get hotter. Our house can get up to 85˚ inside which will affect the energy efficiency. I keep my chiller at 55˚ mainly for red wines and keep them toward the top, but I layer the white wines toward the bottom where it's cooler. If I want the white wines cooler, I just put them in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. I would recommend that a thermometer be placed inside the chiller to calibrate the LED readout. My chiller seems to be spot-on. The inside light is okay, not great, but doesn't automatically come on when you open the door. The LED light on the exterior is a cool-looking blue and in a dark room at night puts out a lot of light. For the price, this chiller is a great value so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pay cheap get cheap We bought this exact wine cooler at another retailer about two years ago.....Don't waste your money on this. You get what you pay for. Doesn't keep temp control. Temp control relies to much on the room temp. We live in Florida and during the summer, keep the house between 78-80 degrees ( save the electric bill). Set the cooler at 46 degrees, but could never get it down to that. According to customer service its because the house was to warm for the system to cool the air. Their answer was to cool the house down to 70 degrees. I asked if they were going to pay my electric bill, and got hung up on...Wife didn't want to return it, because it worked good enough for here. Now its two years later and the thing just died. Spend a little extra and get something better

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good cooler, but not for everyone. This cooler (Model SWC2801) looks nice, is a great size and is very energy efficient, It's a superconductor type system that goes to a maximum of 30 degrees f. cooler than ambient air temps. This may not be adequate for some people. It is not intended for cabinet or enclosed installation. It needs air (at minimum 5 inches back and sides - open air) and it puts off heat to it's surroundings. Not whisper quiet by any means and the LED read out of temperature is so bright, I have black tape on it. If you want a quiet, cabinet installable wine cooler, go with a compressor style cooler. If you want the lowest electrical usage, this model works. It's inexpensive yet seems well made and uses the latest cooling technology, which unfortunately, may pose problems for some owners.
