I rarely purchase plain steel circular saw blades, as carbide lasts much longer. But I rarely cut particle board, and bought the least expensive blade available. I was surprised to find that after many cuts, this blade was still very sharp, and the last cut was as smooth as the first!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheEngineer Good for fine finishes
This is a simple saw blade with any fine teeth you might find similar to a hand saw. The fine tooth design produces a relatively smooth cut surface and is good for general cutting purposes like plywood, 2x4, etc. It will eventually dull but is quite durable for the price and has a good value. I recommend it for general cutting purposes with the expectation it will be replaced at some interval when it dulls. I have purchased this item before.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by HarleyDude2000 Beware...Shallow cut only
Only use blade where laminate in glued to a thin material. Work good when 1/2" wood. TERRIBLE when cutting 1.5" wood with a laminate glued to it. Overheated a heavy duty DEWALT SAW...

Blade was bought to cut 1/8 inch luan plywood sheets. Blade dulled after 6 cuts, had to go back to my 24 tooth all purpose blade to finish the project.
