Answer:
This is a fine-tooth saw designed to make fine cuts in wood or plastics. I used it for thin plywood to cover the rear of a shelving unit I built out of 1" X 8" pine. It is not a metal blade and I wouldn't attempt to cut metal with it as it will surely dull quite fast. A better choice might be the Avanti 7 in. x 128-Teeth Ferrous Metal Cutting Saw Blade, Model # A07128R, $9.97 on the Home Depot website. Read More

Answer:
It is wood and wood products only. Use a metal cutting blade in a reciprocating saw, abrasive blade in a circular saw, a hacksaw, or tin snips to cut metal studs.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good value for money It worked well and was a reasonable price nice smooth cuts on a $110.00 door so I had to have no mistakes at all! September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw Blade Using the right blade for the right job is important and yields a better finished product. If I have questions the Home Depot staff is always there and usually very knowledgeable. Their mass-buying results in great prices and as in the case of this blade, great value. Thanks Home Depot! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much Better Than Lowes We usually buy all of our HOme Repair and Improvement items from Lowes but the blades that they had for the saw were horrible and actually stripped the screw that held the blade in place on the saw while trying to cut and trim the new counter tops. So went to Home Depot and bought a new Skilsaw and these blades worked sooo much better. Will definately buy them again for a future project. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good blade, reasonable price I rarely purchase plain steel circular saw blades, as carbide lasts much longer. But I rarely cut particle board, and bought the least expensive blade available. I was surprised to find that after many cuts, this blade was still very sharp, and the last cut was as smooth as the first! March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for fine finishes This is a simple saw blade with any fine teeth you might find similar to a hand saw. The fine tooth design produces a relatively smooth cut surface and is good for general cutting purposes like plywood, 2x4, etc. It will eventually dull but is quite durable for the price and has a good value. I recommend it for general cutting purposes with the expectation it will be replaced at some interval when it dulls. I have purchased this item before. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Avanti blade Results were excellent, performed exactly as I'd hoped it would. June 14, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beware...Shallow cut only Only use blade where laminate in glued to a thin material. Work good when 1/2" wood. TERRIBLE when cutting 1.5" wood with a laminate glued to it. Overheated a heavy duty DEWALT SAW... February 23, 2016
