Answer:
Yes it will. Porcelain tile is very brittle and will break easily. Make a light cut first and then proceed with your final cut.
Always wear at least an N95 mask and protective goggles. You so not want this dust in your lungs and shards of material in your eyes.

Answer:
It will cut the tile not problem, it will be dusty and it probably will not leave an edge that would want to be exposed.

Answer:
The 5/8 dia brass center of the blade pops out - that increases the dia from 5/8 to 7/8.
To pop it out use the ring in the package to press against the center - you can screw down the flange to apply the pressure.

Answer:
I figured it out. I flipped the outer clamping flange, then cranked down the screw. The 7/8" arbor then pushed the brass insert into the space in the outer flange. I then removed the screw and flange, removed the brass insert, reinstalled the flange and screw and was able to get to work. This should have been described in the product insert card.

Hi PawPaw, you don't want to use this blade on a tree trunk. The blade will load up with tree material and dull it.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts stucco like butter! I needed to cut the stucco for my Bull Terrier's dog door. It literally cut the stucco and the metal mesh like butter. I have used a sawzall and a masonry blade to do it before and it was a nightmare. June 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by should have bought this first After spending 10 bucks on several of the cheaper blades and blowing through them, i got this one for about 10 bucks and it's like a hot knife through butter. Outlasted the others 100 fold. June 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Used on hard ceramics - worked well great price These blades were a great value. We used them to cut ceramics with a wet saw. That worked as well as more expensive blades. Very happy with these. They are priced right!. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Diamond blades This blade worked great for some siding I was cutting May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chewed right through granite, even ground through steel, still looks new. I needed to cut a notch into my kitchen counter where I was replacing my drop-in cooktop with a full range (temporary until the full kitchen demo/reno). This blade, on a cheap angle grinder, had no problem chewing through the granite. It even ground through the steel bars I didn't expect to find inside the granite. It does throw a lot of superfine dust. If you have to work inside, contain your area as much as possible with plastic sheeting, including overhead. Also rotate the grinder's guard to guide the dust down as much as possible. This blade did its job very well, still looks ready for much more, and cost little. 5 stars! Only complaint: there should have been instructions printed on the insert card as to how to get the brass insert out of the hub for a 7/8" arbor. I figured it out (see questions), but shouldn't have had to. April 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great cutter I bought this to cut rock board that was attached to my floor, with thin set and screws. It worked great! I made four cuts with ease. It's priced just right for the small one time jobs, but the way it cut I know it will hold up for quite some time. Using this saw to cut will create a lot of dust, wear protection. A dust mask and safety goggles. February 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by broke on first cut I bought this to cut the garden stones my wife and I got the day before.... started cutting great but broke before I got through the first stone.Maybe I got a defect but I will not be wasting money on another. January 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works great for cutting pavers and at a great price! I needed to cut some pavers, but I wasn't going to buy a wet tile saw just to make a half dozen cuts in pavers. Looking over the power tools I had, I wanted to find a solution that was economical and effective. The simplest approach was to use my cordless grinder that uses 4-1/2" blades. I found only a handful of options at the local stores, but this was the cheapest option (other options at the "blue" store were almost double the price). I wasn't expecting this to last, so long as it got the job done It would be well worth the $11 I spent. To my surprise, the blade cut very smoothly and seemed very durable and after several long cuts on 1 sq-ft / 2" thick pavers, the blade edge didn't seem to have any wear at all. The job I needed to get done was done perfectly, and I have a feeling this blade will last me several more jobs; which is all a bonus to me. January 1, 2016
