Yes they can. I mounted one on a Black & Decker 4" angle grinder. I think that I had to remove the blade guard to do so. Be careful, wear goggles and a dust mask. You'll be surprised how quickly it cuts through concrete.

Yes, you can fit it to a grinder, if you have the cutting wheel hardware. It will fit as a cutting disc.
Keep in mind it's life will be less if not wet. Also, if used on tile or glass, you run risk of fracture of materials. You'd also want to protect yourself from dust.

This blade will grind into and cut most materials, masonry, ceramics, and even metals, but, it's life is lessened depending on abuse/use. If you just want a do all blade, this is nice for short duty. The diamonds and there bond will let go with heat. You can even cut metal as well but it probably won't outlast a cutoff wheel or two. Read Less

Yes. I have one in my angle grinder now. I use it to cut asbestos siding and tile.
As always wear eye protection and a dust mask. This blade does create some very fine dust.

Answer:
Yes it will. Porcelain tile is very brittle and will break easily. Make a light cut first and then proceed with your final cut.
Always wear at least an N95 mask and protective goggles. You so not want this dust in your lungs and shards of material in your eyes.

Answer:
The 5/8 dia brass center of the blade pops out - that increases the dia from 5/8 to 7/8.
To pop it out use the ring in the package to press against the center - you can screw down the flange to apply the pressure.

Answer:
I figured it out. I flipped the outer clamping flange, then cranked down the screw. The 7/8" arbor then pushed the brass insert into the space in the outer flange. I then removed the screw and flange, removed the brass insert, reinstalled the flange and screw and was able to get to work. This should have been described in the product insert card.

4-1/2 in. Turbo Diamond Blade is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from From Zero to Hero Old and outdated, I had to remodel our shower and bathroom floor. In the effort to get it done fast, the square drain was cut too small by 3/8" and the toilet hole by 1/2". Mortar and porcelain set, I thought I had zero chance to fixing my mistake for cheap. Hence, shows up 4-1/2 IN. TURBO DIAMOND BLADE to the rescue. I can say I was skeptical but it did the job and it did it well! Used it on a Harbor Freight grinder with intervals of water from a tile sponge to keep the dust down. Says it can cut dry or wet but decided to prolong the blade life by keeping it wet. After I was done, the blade still looked like new. I can say this blade was my hero in saving me the headache of the more costly and/or labor intensive alternatives. Can't wait till I throw something else at it....Highly Recommend!

Used to cut curves in 2" concrete pavers for a 22'x23' patio. Never bound up on me and cut through the pavers like butter. Also used it to grind down rough edges as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good deal I was doing a brick project when my blade wore out. I was going to go back to the discount tool store but I found this gem at Home Depot. it was $5 cheaper too! It cut through the bricks well and I was using a cheap wet saw. I finished the project with that blade and it appears to have plenty life left. I dont know how it would hold up to heavy use but for the DIY'er its a good buy.

The blade has worked very well, it has cut brick pavers and mortar and is still going strong. I have had it for about two weeks and used it on two projects. It is lasting far longer than I had expected it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have switched years ago!!! I broke two of the standard blades cutting 1" thick paving blocks. Got a Turbo Diamond Blade and it cut the pavers like butter. Lots faster and much easier. I will never go back to the old blades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from should have bought this first After spending 10 bucks on several of the cheaper blades and blowing through them, i got this one for about 10 bucks and it's like a hot knife through butter. Outlasted the others 100 fold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, easy to make large gouges in concrete This will remove concrete and anything on top of it. Had some uneven areas where epoxy wasn't removed with a diamond grinder and this cleaned up those spots with ease. With good control you can create nicely leveled surfaces, but you can just as easily create large gouges.
