Answer:
I would not reccomment it. It will dig by virtue of the saw's rpms in but it is not meant for wood at all.

Answer:
Yes, I do it often. However, you need to use a light touch and not power into the time or you will crack it. Also it is best to make sure you are not trying to cut tile in cold conditions as that increases the chances of chipping or cracking the tile.

Answer:
Yes, this worked very well to cut through plaster and metal lath (the wire mesh).
In fact, I didn't even have to remove the tile that was on the plaster - this blade, mounted on an angle grinder, cut through the tile, the plaster/cement and the wire mesh. Be aware though that a 4 1/2" blade didn't get through all the way and I had to go to the other side and make a similar cut. If you have access to Read More

If you have access to only one side of the tile/plaster/mesh wall, use the 7 1/2" version of this blade in the appropriate angle grinder.
Please be aware of the immense amount of dust this activity creates. Make sure you have a good mask, eye protection, gloves, full sleeved clothes and a hat or hair cap. I also put a fan in my bathroom window pointing outwards. Read Less

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Better late than never I ordered this blade and the grinder to turn it at the same time. Grinder came right away, no blade. I purchased another blade at the store, so I could complete my job. A few days later, the original blade arrived, which I returned. Very inconvenient! May 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked Great on Marble I had a granite backsplash for a bathroom vanity top that was about 1/2 inch too long, I originally tried my angle grinder with whatever blade came with it, and it was clear that it was going to take quite some time to remove the marble. I saw this on the Home Depot website and bought it. It worked great, took about 1 minute to remove the marble and make a clean cut. March 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only lasted 3 days. I use this type blade daily. This is the first one that only lasted three days. Bosh blades are the way to go. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The blade that tore down a block wall... I had to tear down a block wall and decided to do it one chunk at a time. This blade was unbelievable in a very fantastic way. Job completed and still plenty of blade left. I cut as deep as I could then used a hammer and chisel to finish off the job. Great product. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well worth it's cost This little blade is a vital part of my business. For it's cost it does a lot of work from cutting tile to cutting cobble stone pavers. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very well made tool I did not expect a lot from this because of its low price. I was very pleased and now I have a great tool for another project. January 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts stone like butter I bought this blade to cut some flagstone that I was laying and I can say that it's a heck of a lot easier than chiseling. January 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive but worked GREAT Needed to cut down two inches of concrete on a fence post to install chain link fence. This cut through the concrete with EASE. No water... just plain cut. (of course there was the dust storm, noise, debris thingy)... but dust mask, face shield and ear plugs and I was done in a very short time. Blade still sharp and tough. Never did try it "wet" but it worked so good dry, why bother to wet the spot you are working on. Definitely worth the $$. Glad I didn't spend the 20 plus bucks for a name brand blade. Don't know for sure but can't believe it would cut better for twice the price. Will just buy TWO and have a spare would be my idea...... Very happy with blade and price.!!! July 30, 2015
