I bought this for a new project but due to the poor quality of this blade, I had to finish the job with my old blade. So I would NOT advise anyone to get this or if you do, keep the receipt for the return.

I found this to be a most excellent product, exactly as advertised it does in fact have 18 teeth perfectly spaced teeth, unlike my uncle Walt who only has seven. The circular saw blade is exactly seven and one quarter inches in diameter, no metric conversion kit needed! Best of all however is the striking blue paint scheme which adds a professional look to any woodworking project whether utilizing solid frame lumber or plywood. It is truly inspirational and encourages the builder to rise up to meet the lofty expectations of a true craftsman.

Purchased this blade for a single purpose: the cutting of polycarbonate roofing panels. Following another builder's suggestions, I installed the blade reversed for this task. In addition, the manufacturer of the panels recommended cutting multiple panels together. These tips worked for me. This rating is therefore limited to the aforestated application, and is not an overall recommendation of this blade for cutting other types of material.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far so good So far so good. I haven't had this product long enough to give it more than three stars. Those last two stars are only earned with the longevity of the product. It came out of the package with a sharp edge and has held up with all of my medium duty tasks. I would recommend it for the money.

It worked well with the first several sheets of plywood I cut but then dulled very quickly, forcing me to purchase a new blade just to finished the project I bought it for. This time I purchased a DEWALT carbide tipped blade. I will never purchase another Avanti blade.

The width profile prevented clogging and the battery life was extended due the blade not binding up. Used as cut off and cross cutting in newly cured deck boards with no issues.

Bought it to smooth cut 3/4 plywood for a book case and it made the saw walk all over the panel. Actually thought it was the saw so I bought a new saw and another blade with the same results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not cut as claimed The blade was slow and did not cut very well. I felt like I was having to push hard to get through the board. This caused my cut line to be wavy. The review I am typing will not let me rate it as a 1. Very crafty Home Depot.
