The previous answer is incorrect. I had the same question as you and did my research. You will use this part:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/BAZZ-Plaster-Frame-Mounting-Frame-for-Recessed-Kits-PF1101/203288775?keyword=203288775
It's from Bazz, Model #PF1101.
That's what I purchased and installed for these lights for my new construction which has been finished and moved in.

Answer:
These lights do not require brackets and are made only to be installed through a 3-7/8" opening in the ceiling. There are screws inside the fixtures that clamp the light tight in the opening.
They can be placed on a dimmer, but I believe you need a dimmer that can handle the LEDs low wattage otherwise they blink a bit when first turned on.

I wound up spacing them 32 inches apart and 30 inches out from cabinet walls. They look great, very happy with them ! I tested them first at 48 inches and shined them on a tape measure , I would not space them no more than 40 inches max .

Are these lights good for installation in ceiling with access to attic? These lights are IC rated as per specifications however i was wondering if it needs to be in air tight box or away from cellulose insulation in attic.

Answer:
No problem with that. The LED-modules have very little heat-dissipation compared to incandescent lights. That is why the housing is almost airtight. No ventilation required like with incandescent.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value- easy Install---Bulb Issues I've had them installed for less than a month and 2 bulbs have already blown out... July 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 20% Bulb Failure This is my second review. At first I gave these a 5 star in all categories. These fixtures have been installed for around 2 months now and so far, in that time 4 out of 20 fixtures have bulbs that have failed. The bulbs are rated 35000 hours and have failed in less than 480 hours. This is a 20% failure rate. Bazz so far has sent bulbs to replace them but 2 bulbs were a different style and did not match so now those 2 fixtures look different than the others. This is the lighting I get to deal with in my $20,000.00 kitchen remodel. April 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy this product LED lamps went out after 90 days. Return policy is before 90 days. Fixture cause AFCI to trip interment problems. You get what you pay for on this item. July 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Living room lighting These were a breeze to install. Once I had the insulation out of the way I cut the CORRECT diameter hole and they fit very snugly into the opening. I had to crawl up into the attic and work in a cramped space to complete install, but it was well worth it. My circumstance was a little different from others as I have the lights working off two dimmer switches and had to fish the wire down the wall to the switches and then wire them to a new circuit breaker at the panel. This is relatively easy if you read up on electricity and wiring. I am a do it yourself-er and do all my own work, when I can, following proper codes and procedures. April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stylish and functional These lights are just as pictured on the website and seem perfect for our needs. They can be redirected and can be dimmed. I would definitely recommend them. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best light the lights shipped super fast easy to install and really look like an expensive light. they look great in our new cottage April 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worked for one month I installed four and they worked great for one month. Two no longer work. All four are on the same line and it does not make sense why two would go out so quickly but the other two work well. April 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor quality I would give this item 0 star if there was an option. We purchased 3 packs of this LED light kits and installed them a week ago. Two light bulbs are already not working. Home Depot stores do not carry the same replacement light bulbs so we had to order them online and go back to the store to pick up in order to avoid shipping charges. I do not recommend this item. Very poor quality. March 14, 2016
