Answer:
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, Peter. As paint tinting is an in-store only service, I recommend contacting your local store for verification. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

Answer:
Hello Ddub,
Great question. Yes, our Solid Color Stain can adhere to a wood filler as long as it's paintable. I would also recommend letting the filler fully cure before using our stain.
Best regards,
Kevin

1-Gal. #SC-157 Navajo White Solid Color Waterproofing Wood Stain is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 111.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly Disappointed We have always had great success with other Behr products and viewing all the reviews of this product, we expected the same great quality. We were disappointed. We prepped the deck as recommended with Behr All in One Wood Cleaner abd a power washer. Once dry after a few days of hot sun, we did the first coat. It looked great. Did a second coat on the deck boards two days later and reveled in how good it looked. Well, a few days after it was chipping and staining. How sad and how expensive! We bought four gallons and used three and will have to purchase some other product to fix this mess.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Product I put this down on my deck last year summer and by the time the next summer rolled around we had peeling areas all over the deck. We prepped by power washing and sanding. We let the deck dry out for 5 days and then put the stain down. Looked great for the first part of the summer then when we went to use it the next summer it was in terrible condition. I would highly recommend using a different product. I would like a complete refund for the 4 gallons I purchased!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Deck Stain We Have Ever Used We have tried several different brands. Two summers ago, we stained all our decks with another brand. The stain did not stick to any of the horizontal surfaces. Consequently, they all had to be redone. A great deal of time and money wasted. We re-stained with Behr and the stain held up even through our harsh Michigan winter. I would not purchase any other brand from now on. My daughter bought a house last fall and purchased a different brand of paint for her interior and I was helping her paint. I was so frustrated I wanted to go to Home Depot and purchase Behr paint myself to replace what she had. It was runny and the coverage was terrible. It took more paint because it needed multiple coats and still the finish did not look good. You definitely get what you pay for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product!!! This wood stain product is excellent. I have a summer cabin that has redwood siding that is over 40 years old. Because this cabin is at 7500 feet and cannot be acessed for about 6 months of winter, normal deck/wood stain needs to be redone every year and the stain doesn't look very good either. This Behr product makes the cabin siding look new and it still looks as if it was just put on 8 months later after going through a heavy winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good after 10 years, but faded We decided to stain the whole house after redoing an addition. The old can of Behr stain left over from the previous staining was dated 2006. Other then some fading, the house still looks great - no cracks, chips, or peeling. A similar product at Lowe's was the exact same price - but the can contained several ounces less product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent coverage, spreadability, color I have used this previously (Weatherproofing Stain - acrylic base 5013) with great results. Recently I used it on previously oil-finished deck uprights that had faded away after 7 years. I pressure washed and let it dry a lengthy period, then wiped down before application. The product spread very easily, adhered quickly and well. We are in the PNW and the UV is only harsh a few months a year, but the water is incessant all other times, and mildew is always a problem. This works great in that challenging environment. This is cheaper in the long run than lower priced options. Win-win. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cape Cod Gray deck stain Online the product was pictured as Cape Cod Gray on the can. The 4 cans sent to me were labeled WHITE. There was a tiny sticker on the top of the can that I found later was a mixing code sticker. NOBODY I contacted online NOR anyone in my local store knew what the sticker meant. I took the paint back to the store because I couldn't use WHITE. I didn't want to open it, of course, because I wanted to return it. My husband noticed the sticker and asked if it was possible that it meant that the can was white and had dye put in it. The service manager opened the can and determined it had, in fact, been dyed to the Cape Cod Gray color. PLEASE don't advertise cans of one color if you're sending WHITE cans with dyed paint, or AT LEAST notify consumers that the paint label will not reflect the color of the paint within!!
