Answer:
On my medium texture walls, a quart covered about 60 square feet, per coat. I have found that 2, or more, coats were required to achieve full coverage. A gallon size or larger would be better suited for 300+ square feet.

Answer:
Hi Tabasco64,
Thanks for your interest in our Behr Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel. The Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel spread rate is 350 - 400 sq. ft. on rough and 500 - 550 sq. ft. on smooth surfaces. On average the spread rate is roughly 450 sq. ft. per gallon. Currently the Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel is only available in gallons.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Paint We used this to paint our kitchen cabinets and love the way the paint applied and looked after drying. The Behr representative recommended this product and we couldn't be more pleased. April 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best paint Very high quality paint, it covers real well and looks great May 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Goes on smooth, dries reasonably fast., more durable and almost no scent. My favorite aspect of it, cleans 10x easier than latex off painting tools. February 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best ever for wood trim The woodwork in my house was stained. I wanted to paint but was having difficulty getting acheiving that smooth glossy look of oil paint until this product was recommended to me. Its amazing! It self levels and dries very hard giving my woodwork the look of oil. Best paint ever! February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EXQUISITELY ESSENTIAL ENAMEL WOW! What an easy product to apply. Smooths on and brush strokes disappear. Solid, hard finish that is the envy of all my friends. Looks professional! January 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Clean Easy to wipe off grease in the kitchen. It's even better if you have kids at home! December 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Choice After a failed start due to some bad info I got from Home Depot, I was recommended to use this paint for my kitchen cabinets. After priming my outdated brown laminate cabinets this paint went on great. being impatient I waited about an hour before applying my second coat (which went on with no issue) and after 2 hours actually placed the cabinet doors back on (and applied a 3rd coat). I am sure if I waited the recommended 4 hrs between coats I would have needed only 2 coats. This is a great paint, leveled off amazingly since I was worried about brush strokes and dried really fast. I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because the curing process is taking a bit longer than I like. It's completely dry but hasn't hardened enough for me to put the hardware on the doors yet without scratching the paint. I recommend this paint for cabinets! August 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by First Time User I am painting my bathroom cabinets. I prefer an oil based finish but because I can no longer find oil based paints any where I decided to try out this product. I find it a bit tricky to use. Wish it could be thinned down a bit because it is hard to get a thin coat and continuous strokes. I sanded, primed, applied 3 coats (waiting 24 hours before applying each subsequent coat and then waited 7 days before applying hardware and reattaching the doors. The styles had cured about 2 weeks and the paint was still soft and caused some chipping when attaching the doors. I am happy with the overall look but still prefer an oil based paint. It dries much harder. Latex is rubbery and takes a long time to cure once dry to the touch. I really do not see the difference from using a regular semigloss latex paint. April 23, 2015
