Used the product on an old fence I was refurbishing. I took the old wooden fence boards off and power washed them. After they dried. I used the wood stain. Turned out great. Sure beats the cost of buying new fence boards. The fence was about 15 years and fairly weathered. Using water and soap for the cleanup was helpful. Saved on brushes.

Unfortunately the color I needed wasn't availabale in a quart and a pint was too little. I only used a small amount and now I'm left with a lot of stain I probably won't use. It's a good product though and did a good job

Built 5 wooden benches for outside and stained them with Behr Waterproofing stain and they look great! Getting lots of great compliments on the color and benches. Also, used it on a pergola, looks great.

Ok, not as good as the 5 to 8 year stain. Sort of thin.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JessicaMcManus Worst deck stain ever!
I used this product to refresh the stain on my deck floor when I ran out of another brand and could not find it again. Within 2 weeks of application it was already wearing off the traffic areas of my deck. One month later, it looks like I never touched it. The rails that I had done with the 2 year old left-over stain are fine, but the areas done with the Behr look like they did before I even applied it. What a waste of my time & money!
And I almost forgot! This stuff doesn't water proof either. Rain soaked right in just like the wood was not treated. Water never even attempted to bead up.
