Hi yup,
We appreciate your interest in our wood stains! We currently only make wood stains for exterior surfaces. You may want to reach out to your local Home Depot store for some recommendations on what you can use for your indoor surface. Good luck with your project! - Sara

Answer:
Hello alex,
We appreciate your question. This product is both a waterproofer and a stain for the wood it covers. The semi-transparent finish will allow some of the color of the wood and the wood grains to show through. Well wishes for your project!

Hello Bo,
We appreciate your question. This wood stain of ours is a water-based product (100% acrylic). If wanting to apply it, we'd recommend only doing so on bare wood as it adheres by penetrating into the surface. Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 115 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by behr redwood stain Ok, not as good as the 5 to 8 year stain. Sort of thin. September 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst deck stain ever! I used this product to refresh the stain on my deck floor when I ran out of another brand and could not find it again. Within 2 weeks of application it was already wearing off the traffic areas of my deck. One month later, it looks like I never touched it. The rails that I had done with the 2 year old left-over stain are fine, but the areas done with the Behr look like they did before I even applied it. What a waste of my time & money! And I almost forgot! This stuff doesn't water proof either. Rain soaked right in just like the wood was not treated. Water never even attempted to bead up. November 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Used before, still does its job! Have used before to stain deck. Needed more to complete the job this year. Consistent product, does what's advertised August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stain A very good stain product that I am extremely pleased with. I have used it in the past and it holds up well against the conditions. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bought the same product again My wooden view deck needs regular protection from rain, frequent fog, and humidity. After trying several different products over the past 23 years, I find the Behr waterproofing wood stain to work best. It is easy to apply, dries very fast, and is ready for the second coat after a few hours (fresh wood needs 2 coats). When it is dry again, you can notice its water repellent job the morning after when all drops stay on top and don't get absorbed by the new or old wood any longer. Repainting after a few years only requires one coat. October 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wood stain I used a paint rower to stain the boards. It went on great took the stain very well too. I put on two coats but it really didn't too. Because the first coat covered the wood very well. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Deck Stain Stain cover was excellent. One coat on very weathered wood, which I cleaned and really, I mean really let dry. Clean up was easy. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Very high quality product, I will buy the Behr brand again June 21, 2016
