Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible coverage, uneven coverage I have never used anything that had such a poor rate of coverage. Less than 100 sf per gallon. That's not even close to other products I have used, some sold by THD. I have never had a complaint with anything from THD. This is a first. It was very blotchy and uneven. It was mixed at THD and stirred again before use but the first panel I did (48 sf) was much lighter than the second as if the pigment settled to the bottom. i used a roller and brush. It was overcast, dry, in the low seventies. June 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Less than one year and my deck looks like ..... Took 3 gallons to completely cover a 12x12 deck, two coats a night mare for side railing. Less than one year later it's all peeling. May 27, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy it!! This stain will not hold up on deck floors and stairs. I have used oil based stains for over 50 years with no complaint. Since oil based stains are hard to find I tried the Behr acrylic. In less than 3 months bare spots where showing up on the floor and steps. I suspect I will have to restain within a year. I would remove the acrylic but it would require a lot of sanding. This garbage should not be called STAIN because it don't penetrate the wood. It should be called semi-transparent garbage. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. April 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Really Stain This product is not really a stain. A true stain will absorb into the wood and act as a preservative. This product is simply a surface coating and does not weather well AT ALL! It lasted one season and the deck looked bad after one winter. The wood checked and cracked as if there were no treatment whatsoever. I give a rating of ZERO stars. My recommendation is to use an oil based stain that soaks into the wood July 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brought out that Natural Look. This product did wonders for our fence. It has been several years since I was able to put waterproof seal on it. It was really looking bad. But the Behr Waterproofing semi-transparent wood stain made it look almost new again. We used the clear stain and it really brought out the natural wood grain again. November 21, 2014
