Answer:
Hello Matt,
Thanks for your question. We can recommend this product on pressure treated wood after the injected chemicals have a chance to air out (typically 6-8 weeks, but please check with the wood manufacturer or vendor for their exact timeframe). Then, you would prep the wood as the label states before painting. Well wishes for your project!

I bought way more than needed for the garage and wondered if this would be suitable for interior trim. It's a rental house so it doesnt need to be pretty.

Answer:
I used it indoors after trying to find a paint that could hold up to heavy use. This one was recommended by people online so I gave it a shot. It doesn't smell which is nice but it didn't hold up like I thought it would from what people said about it. We used it on the trim pieces in our house and bathroom.

Dear Ed,
A primer is only required if you are painting a "bleeding" wood like Redwood, Cedar, Cypress or other “bleeding” woods. These woods contain water soluble extractives which may cause discoloration of white and pastel colors; therefore if necessary, prime the above type woods with one coat of a product such as BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® NO. 436 Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer to reduce these stains. Below are the preparation and application instructions for using our Barn & Fence Paint.
PREPARATION
Remove stains caused by mold and mildew with a mold and mildew stain removing product. Previously painted, stained or clear sealed wood: Sand all glossy surfaces. If surface is in good condition, apply directly over clean, dry surface. If the latex or oil-based finish has started to crack, peel or flake, use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM™ NO. 64 Wood Stain & Finish Stripper on wood to remove the coating. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with a product such as BEHR PREMIUM NO. 63 All-In-One Wood Cleaner. Scrub, rinse, and allow to dry completely. New, weathered, pressure treated or uncoated wood: Place cloth duct tape in random areas on the bare wood. Press the tape firmly then quickly remove it. If wood fibers or debris are pulled onto the tape, the wood surface is not sound and additional preparation is required as follows: Clean surface with a product such as BEHR PREMIUM NO. 64 Wood Stain & Finish Stripper. Rinse. Follow with a product such as BEHR PREMIUM NO. 63 All-In-One Wood Cleaner at full strength to remove mill glaze and/or loose wood fibers, dirt and other debris. Rinse and allow to dry.
APPLICATION
Use when air and surface temperature are 50-90˚F (10-32˚C). Do not apply in direct sunlight or if rain is expected within 24 hours. Wood surfaces must be completely dry. When working with more than one container of the same color, intermix to ensure color uniformity. Redwood, Cedar, Cypress and other “bleeding” woods contain water soluble extractives which may cause discoloration of white and pastel colors; therefore prime the above type woods with one coat of a product such as BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® NO. 436 Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer to reduce these stains. Apply with a nylon/polyester brush on smooth surfaces. On rough-sawn or textured wood apply with a 3/4" long nap roller or high quality airless sprayer. For airless spraying use a .015" tip. Keep a wet edge to reduce lapping and help control color uniformity. Always back-brush or back-roll during all application methods. Two coats may be necessary for complete hiding. Apply the second coat only after the first coat has thoroughly dried.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 103 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great paint at an affordable price I had been looking for an affordable paint to paint beehives that I am building. It applies very easily and dries quickly. In addition, for the volume of paint that I use it is very affordable. I am anxious to see how it holds up through the winter. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great paint I used this paint for the trim on an outdoor storage building. The paint covers well and looked great. It cleans up very easily with soap and water. I would certainly buy again. August 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Paint is great We went to HD to get Paint and the HD paintman said we will need two gallons never one time did they say this paint was non refundable this is the only bad thing out of this project everything else was great. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Seems more like a white wash than paint I had new unpainted plywood to cover and I thought it would be petty quick, but this product seems to go on thin. I re coated 2-3 times to get a good coverage. The paint dries quickly. Cleanup was pretty easy with soap and water. Getting paint off hands was easy too. The paint seems to have a surface like a white chalk board. It is flat, or very low shine, and I needed to mark a drill hole with pencil and the lead quickly marked the paint but was impossible to erase with a high quality drafting eraser. So I imagine dirt may be a problem looming in my future. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Paint This paint applies easily and dries quickly. However, it doesn't cover stains as well as other paints I have used. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect garage paint Paint worked well for touch up spots on the garage. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by true white ~ good coverage true white ~ good coverage ~ priced competitive or better than other exteriors and safe July 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the job done I bought this paint to trim out some out buildings on our farm because it was an inexpensive exterior paint. It is a little more watery than I would have hoped, but it got the job done and seemed to cover well over the primer coat. Looking forward to see how it holds up over time. I would recommend it for farm and out buildings where protection is needed but you're not overly concerned with having a high quality paint. July 14, 2016
