Answer:
Hello MHDweller,
We appreciate your question. Vinyl can tend to be a slick or glossy surface, so we'd recommend lightly sanding to create a bit of a rough profile on the surface. After wiping off the sand dust with a damp rag and allowing that to dry, you'd be ready to apply our paint. Please follow all label instructions for best results. Well wishes!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time on Behr Marque paint I have yet to here from Behr company for my concerns about their paint: This is my 2nd time to contact you. Please respond it has been 5 days and no response from you. I bought Behr Marque paint from HomeDepot and It is not what it is advertised by you. I bought a gallon to paint a small bedroom with 2 doors and a large window and I had to go buy another gallon because I ran out. I ran out because it spent most of the 1st day chasing many non covered spots and in other spots very bad running paint. Also when I removed the masking ceiling tape it tore off the wall paint like a plastic piece. I have pictures of all these flaws and would be very glad to send them to you. What will your 'one coat guarantee cover' do for me? I need a refund and I have receipts for my original purchase. Home Depot said I had to contact you for compensation. If I don't here from you by Sunday I will be going to Social Media for compensation for this really overpriced paint purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color my world I've always had great results using BEHR products / paints. Especially now that paint and primer combination paint is available. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Paint I Use My most recent projects include painting the living room ceiling and walls and the dining room ceiling and walls and hallway ceiling and walls. For all of these paint projects, I used Behr Marquee. The colors turned out just as I expected. No disappointments. They covered well with only one coat. I never use any paint other than Behr ever since I found its rating in Consumer Reports a few years ago. I have 3 more rooms to paint, and I guarantee I will use Behr. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor coverage after 3 coats Used this to paint interior cupboards. Primed first, then used paint, still had uneven coverage. No seepage, just that the wet paint pulled away as the brush left an area. Some improvement with roller, but something about the paint did not allow it to fill in or settle into a smooth sheen. In tray, pulls away, leaves open spots instead of binding together. Heading back in to get new paint for the rest of the job, likely Behr ultimate like we successfully used for years. This was no upgrade at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best quality paint with no after effects Usually my husband paints a room with a base coat at least once and then paints at least two coats of paint color. This time we had a new bathroom and when it came to paint I bought a sample of this Marquee and we had new drywall put up also. He did do two base coats but when it came to painting over it the semi gloss enamel took only one coat and it was finished beautifully with no after smell that is usually there when painting. Rated 4 out of 5 by from One-Coat We used this Behr Marquee interior paint over primer on old, previously painted step risers - steel staircase in commercial building. We used a deep base, color was Celebration Blue, and 2 1/2 in. brush. We usually only have success in one-coat, with any paint, when going over the same color. This paint covered, was good to go, with only a few spots where the brush had dragged too much needing touch up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful This paint is false advertising! I paid $38 a gallon of 1 coat paint. The first can I used took 2 coats to cover all the walls in one room. I moved onto the next room with another can and it has taken me 4 coats and a half a can of paint to cover the walls properly. My room isn't even half way done! I'm only doing half walls as well. I will not buy this paint ever again!!!!!
