I am considering myself a pretty experienced painter. Recently, I've painted my other bathroom painted in the same type of a paint using same materials and technics with a Valspar Reserve and never had any problems. I've repaired walls with the DAP Wallboard Joint Compound and sanded with the 150 sandpaper. During a painting process, in areas where Compound applied, paint immediately picked up and bubbled, then "no paint" patches were created. I am using a Wooster Pro Classic paint roll. I've never experienced anything like this before. Now I have to sand, repair and paint again! Also, this is not 1 coat paint. I had to apply 2-3 coats at some places. After 8 days of painting, I had to slightly apply a blue tape for only 5 min on the painted wall because I had to paint cabinets. It came out with the paint, of course. See pictures for details. I've contacted a Behr customer services to request a refund, provided pictures and a copy of a receipt. It's a long process, probably will take weeks. I would rather to have a better quality paint than money.

Loved that this paint covered my black wall so well....Also decided to use in my whole house and am loving it!!!! I used some ceiling paint and had to add some of this paint to it because it would not cover as well.... This is my new goto paint and it's right off the shelf, just shake and go!!!

The front entrance at my new studio really needed a fresh coat of paint, and since the rest of my walls are white, I wanted to do something a little different in the front. I was a little worried that it would require a bunch of coats but we covered it all with one coat and it looks amazing.

I would recommend Behr paint, just not the Marquee that is supposedly a one-coat paint - it simply isn't. After two coats, things look good - but then why did I pay the premium for one-coat guarantee? Save yourselves the frustration and buy their standard paint for less and plan on two coats from the start.

In all, we initially purchased 5-gallons. Our painter was so pleased with the smooth and ease and quality, we decided to use the BEHR-MARQUEE line for our entire home. No offensive odor, dried quickly and easy to clean. Just Gorgeous! Mink Haze. POP Color: Eggplant/deep purple (POP color).

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mack5200 The worst paint ever
I have used a lot of paint but this has to be the worst. I purchased dandelion to cover a medium brown paint. It did NOT cover in one coat. It was very hard to roll and even using a brush cutting in, it was difficult. I thought maybe it was just me, but my husband painted some and said it was terrible too. I was very disappointed that I spent over $100 on 2 gallons and was stuck using it. I had an 8 x 10 room and a 3 x 8 hall. I barely had enough to paint them both. The hall was an ivory and it even took 2 coats to cover properly. I pray it holds up. I will never buy this again. I will use discount store paint first. That's how bad it was.

This paint does not live up to its billing. I have a great deal of experience painting, and this is the most difficult paint to apply I have used in a long time. It does not cover as well as advertised and tends to run more than it should. This is not a prep problem. The walls were prepped the same way I always do and have always had good results.
I would recommend the next grade of behr paint down form this one. It is my usual choice and I have never had a problem with it. This paint is not worth the almost 40 dollars per gallon cost.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by chick poor value! did not cover the amount of square feet expected and still required two coats over white primer. for the value get a less expensive paint and just expect to have to put on two coats. on the plus side it has a nice sheen and finish.
