Customer Questions & Answers

Can you use this one fiberglass (such as an rv)?Does it come in glossy

Asked by: Rachel
Hello Rachel, Thank you for your interest in our products. We would not recommend using our product on Fiberglass. We first recommend using a primer designed for that type of surface like our sisters company's primer, Kilz Adhesion. After the Kilz Adhesion is applied, then you can use our Marquee. Best regards, Kevin

I am painting a smooth stucco (Southwestern style) white house. For the best results should I use a primer? If so what are your recommendations?
Asked by: ModerateDIYer
Hello ModerateDIYer, Great question. Yes, for best results you can use a separate primer. I would suggest our Behr Premium Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer No. 436. Best regards, Kevin

Can I add gold color to the glitter paint?!

Asked by: Casey
Hello Casey, We appreciate your question! We don't have a golden colorant, but you might want to check out some brochures or a fan deck at your local Home Depot store for some light lavenders that might have some yellow undertones. Best wishes for your project!

I have a cement board sided home that is only 10 years old. What is the process before applying this paint?

My siding has been crackling and peeling for six years and I want something that will be a better cover than the factory baked finish that we were never supposed to have to touch. I am in southern Ontario and we have all four seasons and sometimes extreme weather in those seasons. I do not want to have to paint my house over and over again.
Asked by: Jennifer
You will need to clean the area you want to apply this paint. Putting on primer is recommended before applying this paint.

1-gal. #P130-2 Pink Innocence Flat Exterior Paint is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 125.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good.....not great I am a professional painter. Marquee is definitely good paint but paint and primer is one is a sales gimmick. Almost always need two coats unless you are painting over previously painted surfaces with the exact same or very similiar color. That's the bottom line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extraordinary Value Painted my wood framed house with a brush using Marquee paint. This paint seals into the wood, does not fade and protects for years. I beleive you can protect your house for a significant amount of years longer than any other paint product. Hence the extraordinary value. I have been a house painter for over 10 years and used all of the other top brands and Behr Marquee paint is without any doubt, the best paint you can buy. This white was very very bright white and excellent for my project. The paint is thick, and goes on thick, so you have to be ready for that. I painted the deck about seven months ago, white was used for the railing and arbor, and this stuff has kept it's brightness. It does layer the wood, so if you hit the wood or like something heavy bumps up against it, it chips it off. The paint doesn't seep into the wood. More of a coat type paint, I guess you can say, which is perfectly fine with me. Coats the wood great, rain doesn't penetrate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not impressed I've been an avid Behr Premium Plus Ultra user for many many years. I saw this commercial and thought I had to try this! For the extra cost, I'll stick with the Premium. Very disappointed. More money doesn't equal better coverage! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very thick heavy paint that covers stains cracks and defects in the wood. I love Behr Marquee paint and use it when ever I can get the right color. I just got this via delivery to the store and it is exactly what I needed and the color match to the chart is great. The only down side to this purchase is the fact that the paint bucket now has plastic connections on the side and one of the cans I got had a broken connection where the metal handle attaches to the can. What a pain. I do not know how often this happens but it is something that HD can fix. Make the plastic better or something. Come on Home Depot. How much did you save with the plastic vs. the metal style connections? At $45.00 per Gal. make a good handle. If it not broken don't fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best paint ever Our company building was vandalized with graffiti and needed to be covered. The building is a light tan color. There was over 80' of off and on graffiti. Black, red, silver, and lime green. One gallon covered it all. One coat coverage was amazing over this! No issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 60 Year Old Soffit The primer/paint covered the bare wood and old sanded paint so well that a second coat was almost unnecessary.... Whereas Pittsburgh paint took over 5 coats of paint on top of primer. The Behr paint seemed brittle as the masking tape flexed upon removal.
