We bought this paint for our exterior door and it was best decision we made when it comes to paint. We live in New England brutal weather and the paint is known to chip because of snow, rain, sun and wind. The paint color doesn't fade, it stays new and polished although we painted the door 3 years ago. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This was the 3rd time I have painted our house since we moved into it in 1987. The other 2 times I painted it I used 2 different brands of paint which I thought was good paint well neither one lasted very long. I decided to use Behr exterior semi-gloss this time and I'm glad I did. I'm very pleased with the results and I think this paint will last a long time. My son saw the results and decided to use it when he painted his house last year. He is totally pleased with the results. He had used a brand of paint costing about 20.00 a more a gallon and after a few years it looked terrible. I would recommend this paint to everyone. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DebiR Very disappointed!
Trying to paint a new garage service door.
I've had to apply so much paint to try and cover everything that it has ran in spots that I didn't see.
My new door doesn't look new anymore.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by farmgirl95602 A Real Test of Primer and Paint Combination
My chicken house needed a few repairs as well as a paint job. First was the replacement of some of the plywood. Then a hosing down to remove the dirt and loose paint, and then a good scraping to remove the rest of the loose paint. Two of the three sides (the front is open with chicken wire) ended up voided of paint. This was a primer and paint job made to really test the quality of the Marquee paint. It passed!
I used an airless paint sprayer. Although the paint is relatively thick, it did not need to be thinned like other paints that I have sprayed. The weathered wood did soaked up the paint quickly, but the paint was dry enough for a second coat immediately. The paint is rated at 400sqft per gallon, but it took almost 2 gallons for the 320sqft area; not surprising because of the condition of the wood. I was done and had the airless cleaned in two hours.
The small barn I did last year (in the same weathered condition) with a different brand of paint took three coats of paint and I had to wait for the paint to dry to put on both the second and third coats. The paint also had to be thinned so that the airless would pump it to the spray nozzle.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JesseO Excellent Coverage, Sheen
Goes on so thick and really is a one coat paint. Amazing. It has a sheen to it and resists dirt sticking just like they say! I can tell it will stay clean and keep looking good for a long time to come. I have told everyone who is thinking about painting their home to try out this paint. Metal that is welded or grinded has rust spots that bleed through, even after touching up several times.
