What is the difference, cameo white vs dutch white? What happened to ultra pure white? Are they all the same white?

Asked by: MAZ
Dutch white has more of a cold/greyish tint, where as cameo white has more of a warm/off-white/yellowish tint.

Can you apply this paint to aluminum or Steel Siding?

Asked by: j63
Hi J63, Thanks for your question! Yes, Exterior Marquee can be used on aluminum and/or steel siding. For best results, sand any bare metal and rinse clean before painting. Hope this helps, and best wishes on your project! Best, Jeanette

5-gal. #ECC-40-2 Southwestern Sand Satin Enamel Exterior Paint is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 200.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Behr Marquee Grass Satin Enamel Exterior Paint Behr paint is good, but I wanted to make sure I had a paint that would really hold up to the weather. The clerk recommended Behr Marquee. I never knew they had this brand.. It was a little more expensive but I decided to try it. Well worth the extra money. Behr Marquee is fast drying , smooth, high quality, with amazing coverage. I have a background of painting because I own duplexes . By far this is the best paint I have ever used. Would definitely buy this paint again. .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good paint, easy to apply, except... I've used Behr paint for 20 years on our present home. On all materials except wood windows, Behr performs very well. But on our wood frame windows, Behr paint, including Marquee, lasts about 2 Summer seasons where the Colorado sun hits it as it peels and cracks. Behr paint company replaced the last gallon and I'm in the process of repainting my windows frames. I'll let you know in 3 years!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive Paint That Doesn't Cover All That Well The title sums up my review pretty well. The HD paint clerk said the Behr Marquis paint should cover in one coat. One coat wasn't even close to being sufficient to cover light tan paint and spots of white primer with light yellow paint that was brushed on. In many cases it took three coats to cover. That doesn't make this bad paint....only time well tell how well it holds up. Considering what I was told about the coverage, and that it's their top line paint at nearly $50 gallon, I guess I expected more. Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints will be on my radar next time.

When it comes to paint, ALWAYS buy the best stuff, NEVER go cheap on paint! Its 10 times more expensive to try and remove crummy paint and re-paint, if you put a value on your time and suffering. Take the cost of the paint, and divide it by the cost of the house, does it make sense to be Mr. Cheapskate? NO! Just buy the expensive stuff and you won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marquee Paint is THE BEST This paint applies easily, covers in one coat, and lives up to its claims. We live in the country where there is a lot of dust. we couldn't be happier with how this paint covered and has worn on our house exterior! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
