Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JT What a horrible product. I thought by spending $46 for a gallon of exterior paint, I would get a good product. Problems- 1. The viscosity is so low that it's impossible to prevent sags and drips from an vertical surface. 2. The hiding power is atrociously low. Looks like I will have to put 2 coats on. Apparently Behr decided to have a very low level of titanium dioxide in this product which gives any paint it opaqueness or hiding power. Don't buy this product. Go to Sherwin Williams!

This paint covers in one coat and is primer and paint in one. No heavy odor and is soap and water clean up. The price is a bit high but in the long run a good deal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Used this paint last year to paint my whole house exterior and just used (a different color) it to paint a bench I built. Covers in one coat, costs more but so far I think that it is worth it.

This brand of paint is some of the best that I have ever used. This paint was used on a 2 story house with slate shingles. The finish made the house really stand out.

This is Behr's best exterior latex paint, which I bought to paint a fiberglass exterior entry door to the garage. The door was clean and dry. The brush I used was a (very good quality) Purdy 2" fine bristle brush for just this kind of paint. The temp was in the mid 80's, and painted not in direct sun.
The door was white, and the paint is shell white, so an easy to cover color. Paint went on smooth and creamy, but showed brush marks. I thought it would flow better, and lose the fine bristle marks, but they remained. Next day, I lightly sanded, wiped and repainted the door, and the results are a good paint job that still shows the bristle marks when dry. It looks fine from a distance, and should be easy to keep clean. But if you want a perfectly smooth finish, this is not the paint.

For the high cost of this product, plus the claim of one coat primer and top coat all in one, this was a disappointment. I prepared the surfaces with sanding and a damp wipe, even though the old paint was still solid and not cracking/peeling. We were painting to change the color from a light tan to white on all our window trim. It took two coats to cover the window trim. The first coat did not completely cover even though I used the recommended brush which I purchased when I bought the paint. I was very disappointed.
