Semi gloss premixed white has poor coverage.

I purchased the premixed white semi gloss Behr Marquee paint. After two coats the paint still looks like it needs another coat. After talking to someone in the paint department I was told the white premixed Marquee needs to have a couple drops of black tint added to it to have good coverage. Is this true?
Asked by: Lee
Hi Lee, Thanks for your question. Adding tint to an Ultra Pure White base may help get better coverage compared to using it untinted. The number of coats needed will depend on a few things, such as the surface type, the color that's being covered, the color being used etc. I hope that helps, and best of luck on your project!
