Is this good for a small bathroom?

Asked by: Neavesnest
Marquee is great for any interior room. I'd recommend a glossier sheen for a bathroom, e.g. semi-gloss.

can this paint be used to cover surface scratches on a faux marble sink vanity

Asked by: scott
While I'm not exactly sure about what you want to cover, I did paint my vanity cabinets with it (laminate covered), and it worked quite nicely. Note that I did put one coat of primer on first though.

5-gal. #T15-7 Secret Blush Eggshell Enamel Interior Paint is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 744.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Like a Charm! Goodbye Horse Covered Vinyl Wallpaper! I convinced my parents to purchase this paint as I had seen the advertisements for the "One Coat Coverage." We were attempting to paint over a very busy vinyl wallpaper that covered the kitchen walls in my parents' older but newly purchased mobile home. Although this paint is a little spendy, it does exactly as it says. It covers in one coat! Even on vinyl wallpaper, it adhered and covered well. I can't honestly say that another type of less expensive paint wouldn't do just as well after several coats, but to be honest, my time is worth more than that. One coat coverage with this paint is the way to go!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One Coat Coverage...NOT We are repainting our bathroom that was dark green. I put two coats of white primer on the walls and finally got them white. I then put this paint on in the color "Milk Paint" which is an off-white color. As you can see from the photo it was NOT complete coverage in one coat - even over primer! So much for spendig extra money on "time-saving" "one coat coverage" more expensive paint! It works the same as Home Depot's cheap stuff! Now i have to put a fourth coat on the walls abd hope it works! Thanks for two days of wasted time painting - next time I'll get my paint elsewhere! :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rock Crystal Not Really Grey.... I was pleased with the paint in general, the Marquee is fabulous, it would've gone on in one coat had the person helping us paint done a better job. We only had to touch up the walls he painted. My biggest complaint was the color. We purchased "Rock Crystal" which is classified as a grey. The sample card looked grey, however once we got it up on the walls it was more of a purple. The fault is on me for not buying a sample size to test, but just wanted to warn others. This not grey, it is a light purple with some grey in it.

I decided to go with this paint after spending weeks picking out the perfect wall colors for our new home. I have always used Behr paint and figured I would go with the "best" quality Marquee to ensure a great finished product (since I spent so much time shopping for colors, I figured I would splurge on a great paint). I couldn't be more disappointed. The paint went on super thick and gummed up as soon as I got in on the walls. Then, when I tried to even out the roll marks the paint started peeling off the walls. Needless to say I was in tears! I have never had a problem with any other Behr paints and when I have the time to smooth out the clumps and repaint the walls over, I plan on using the Behr Premium Plus (which I know works great), but I would definitely not recommend this Marquee paint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good paint, not 1 coat coverage I was very skeptical about 1 coat coverage. I had purchased the same type paint in a different color a few weeks prior. It was almost white covering dark paint. I have to say I was impressed. I painted a 2nd coat due to uneven coverage, which I'm sure was due to my painting. The most recent purchase did not go very well. It was a medium yellow covering the same dark wall as the above mentioned. 1 coat, horrible. Thought a 2nd would do the trick like the other ones, nope. I did a 3rd, and you can still see inconsistent and different color & coverage. I was just finished after that. Luckily some furniture covers the front of that part. The rest of it looks great though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Paint I have used many different brands of paint over the years, but not one has ever come close to Behr Marquee. Ease of application, one coat coverage, and depth of color are all amazing. I will never use any other brand of paint again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Marquee, way too thick! I've been a Behr 'girl' for a long, long time! However, I've never used Marquee Satin Enamel before and have found it to be very gooey! It goes on so thick that when you brush over the last section it starts to pick up paint...even when using a roller. What a mess! I'm half way through my kitchen cabinet project and am seriously considering giving up on the Marquee and going to get a gallon of Ultra. UGH! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
