I recommend this paint for any outdoor deck improvements!
It goes on smooth, dries fast & looks great.
Very easy clean up too.
It will do an excellent job of protecting the wood from all harsh weather conditions

Great coverage the first pass over but I notice some areas that looked dull or paint roller marks were obvious so I did a second coat, still the same results. I love the color and the coverage but I guess it's the same issues many other reviewers mentioned, Flashes :(

I am not a professional, but I have painted a lot for our family over the years. I love Behr paint, and I have used this paint several times. I have never been able to get away with just one coat of this paint, even with the Marquee approved colors. Why? Because I am not a perfect painter. The first coat is 95% there, but the second coat catches the missed spots and gives it a much more uniform and polished finish. There are a few cases where I have not done a second coat on a wall, but just rollered over a few missed spots the next day and the new paint blended right in when dried. If you have a room with a lot of light, I strongly urge you to just plan on doing the second coat, which goes on really fast and I consider the final look well worth my time.
Also, if a wall has dark paint or stains etc. to paint over, I always start out with a couple of coats of water-based primer. I have yet to find a paint and primer in one that does the job of a primer.
And here's what I consider my most important tip: use the best paint roller and paint brush you can afford. You won't regret it. And with a good angled brush and a little practice, you do not need to tape most surfaces. The one surface I do always tape are the baseboards, to avoid getting paint splatters on them.
My most recent paint job was about 250 square feet, and the paint can says it will cover up to 400 square feet. I did two coats, and had paint left over from a gallon of paint. It has nice leveling properties and you don't see paint brush and roller marks.
The reason I give this paint a 4 and not 5 star is because it's almost one coat coverage, but only almost. But hey, maybe a better paint than I can get the one coat coverage it guarantees.
