This 100% Siliconized Acrylic formula was created with high-performance, acrylic resins, that form a strong long-lasting, opaque film on properly prepared surfaces. surface preparation

I would like to restain the borders of my stamped colored concrete patio with a similar brown color..After I strip the accumulated sealers off the concrete will I have to acid etch the borders prior to staining?

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your interest in our Behr Premium Solid Color Concrete Stain. This coating can be applied to previously coated surfaces in good sound condition. Once you remove the previous coating, ensure the surface is free of dirt and debris. Also ensure the surface is porous and has a medium grit sand paper texture. If the surface is smooth, you may need to etch with a muriatic acid.
