Can this be painted over the sticky residue from old peel and stick tiles?

We are removing old peel and stick tiles from a basement bathroom. So far, we have not found a way to get all the sticky residue removed. Can this go on top and 'cover' the sticky reside? Or is there another product that will?
Asked by: KelseyLBK
Hi KelseyLBK, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. You would need to remove all of the residue left by your peel and stick tiles before applying the 1-Part Epoxy. The coating would not adhere well, and you would most likely run into issues down the road. As for another product that will stick to that residue, I suggest reaching out to your local Home Depot for a product recommendation as we do not manufacture one that will adhere to that. Best of luck on your project! Regards, Amanda

I have unpainted concrete balusters on my porch that I want to paint white. What steps should I take? Which paint to use

Asked by: DonFLguy
Hi DonFLguy, Thanks for your question! I recommend checking out our Premium Plus Ultra Exterior paint line ( for your concrete balusters. This product can be applied to vertical concrete surfaces, it will dry to an extra protective shell, and it has a full stain-blocking primer in its formula. Before painting, we recommend making sure your balusters are free of dirt, debris, chalk, and mildew by cleaning them with a mild detergent and/or powerwasher. Once the surface is clean and dry, you can apply your paint. Best of luck with your project! - Sara

1-Gal. #PFC-39 Moss Covered 1-Part Epoxy Concrete and Garage Floor Paint is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Something's Changed I painted my garage floor with Behr's Concrete & Garage Floor Paint back in 2005. Over the years, it has started to show wear and look a but grungy so recoated with the same (but different) product. Followed the directions to the letter and after 7 days, pulled the cars back into the garage. Each tire left a big black image of the tread and it does not wash off. Even the bicycle tires leave black marks. Anything that's rubber leaves ugly marks. Then a hose leak leaves a puddle and when I go to wipe up the water, the paint is lifting up like it's softening from the water. This latter issue was more than 2 weeks after application. This isn't epoxy. It's nothing put latex paint. A real disappointment as the original product used held up very well. To add insult to injury, I highly recommended it to a friend based on my past experience. He is having similar problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor driveway paint Behr 1-part spicy concrete&garage floor paint nr.900 applied first coat after cleaning and power washing driveway let dry 24 hours. Let dry 8 hours after applying. Applied second coat per instruction on can. No traffic of any kind for 10 days. This was done 8-25-2016 we had mild winter with only 2 inches snow no salt or ice melt used sun cleaned off snow & ice. Paint is now flaking up. This paint is very poor driveway paint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Garage Floor We just painted our garage floor. , and I absolutely love it! It was easy to put on .. We etched it, and applied primer. Right now waiting the week before pulling the cars into the garage. Very pleased with it. Will update, once we drive on and see how it hold ups. But, for now couldn't be happier with it.! Rated 1 out of 5 by from not durable for normal use I followed the instructions and used this paint for my concrete carport, front porch and rear screened patio I applied 2 coats with 24 hours dry time in between and allowed it to dry for over a week before parking or placing patio furniture. There were tire marks in the carport within days of parking The patio is scratched up from moving light patio furniture Front porch is scratched from who knows what? maybe a package delivery? dog feet? your guess is as good as mine My brother has also used the same paint in his garage twice with the same results as above We are in south Florida so maybe it's not good for humid climates? Not sure why this is sold as durable garage because it is certainly not that I guess it's better than nothing but certainly not a good product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 Part Epoxy Review Easy to apply and looks good. Poor bonding characteristics. Now that I have it down, I have to remove all of it completely (not fun) and get another product or live with a substandard product. Not pleased at all!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money Followed the directions to the letter. Power washed the carport, etched it with Behr etcher, applied Behr primer. Put on 2 coats of paint.,waited 2 weeks before we drove on it. Now after 8 months it's all coming off where the car tires contact the surface.Looks terrible. Absolute junk...last time I would buy Behr products. All the work gone to waste

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dissapointed How do I feel about this product? IT IS TERRIBLE! A complete waste of time. 20 years ago I had cleaned, etched, and painted my concrete Liani floor with Flex Bond ship bottom grey stain. It lasted beautifully for the past twenty years, but it was looking a little dull so we decided to paint it again. However this time we used Behr 1 part epoxy concrete garage and floor paint. I pressure washed the floor first to make sure it was free from grease, oil, and dirt! After painting and leaving the floor to dry for 3 weeks, we had our Laini re-screened? Much to our dismay, The paint began peeling and the sneaker marks from the man doing the work won't come off areas of the floor that hasn't peeled yet? What is going on? it would be really nice to get some feed back from Behr!!!!
